I love the tote, however it was stolen before I had a chance to test washing it. I don't think it is waterproof but prior reviewers indicated that it was machine washable. Good for grocery shopping and travel. It is my preferred tote. (I also purchased the Ensign Peak tote on Amazon (larger), but I don't like it as much as to oversized and zipper quality. For the price ($10.50), the Mak Express can't be beat.

Q: what the exact dimensions of bag?

I just received the bag and bought it for what they said were the dimensions. The correct loose measure of the bag is 13" x 13" x 5". It's not the 17x14 that they say.

Q: Are there any inside pockets or any divider?

No inside pockets or divider. There are pockets on the sides and the front, though. I was a bit hesitant, but I use mine all the time. It holds a lot for its moderate size.

Q: Will i look like I'm carrying a woman's pocketbook?

I think it looks more like a woman's bag; however, I have not tried using it as a backpack so that might make a difference.
