Did cool but quickly warms up

This didn't really work for me as a "cooling blanket". My sons both tried it and they said the same.At initial use, it does indeed feel cooler, but it doesn't seem to maintain the cool feel but instead, not unexpectedly, adapts to your own body temperature over time. I suspect it's simply that it's better at allowing your body to cool, rather than trying to warm you.I will say that, although it looks very light, it's got a surprising weight for it - reassuringly so. And if you need a blanket of this weight to sleep, then this is a very good alternative because it will certainly be cooler than that.It is a good looking blanket and feels of good quality.----------For information, I tend to give my "star rating" based on the following system:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A great product that exceeded my expectations.⭐⭐⭐⭐ – A good product that generally met my expectations and the claims of the seller.⭐⭐⭐ – A reasonable product but could be better for the money/in relation to the claims of the seller.⭐⭐ - A product that definitely needs improvement - poor quality/poor value for money.⭐ - Very bad quality and/or value for money. Our bedroom is three storeys up so it becomes unbearable to sleep in the Summer especially during the rare heatwave days we have in the UK!Although it is 130x150cm, it was big enough to cover both of us in a king size bed, especially as we were not fighting over it in the heat.It is definitely cooler than any blanket we have had and it is nice to have something with a bit of weight still, anything too light or not providing coverage actually disturbs my sleep.It washed well at 40 degrees and although it is nylon, my husband, who has sensitive skin did not suffer any reaction to it.I would recommend.

I hate having a heavy duvet on me when the nights are warm, but I also need something with some weight to it to feel warm even in the summer and sheets are too light.This OIGAE Cooling Blanket works perfectly for my annual dilemma! Although it claims to be “lightweight” there is some weight to it, more than a king sized sheet or duvet cover. I felt snug under it, the cooling effect is like sliding into a fresh made cold bed. I slept well the past 2 nights after a week of struggling with the stuffy nights and the duvet.

I like to have a blanket on my lap when I'm watching tv, but most blankets are too thick for the summer months. This blanket looks great, the fabric feels good quality, and it's nice and cool, so I don't end up sweating under it. Really pleased with this, and I know it's going to be really nice to have once it gets hotter

I don't know how this works but it does! The blanket is lovely and thin and has a really nice cooling sensation, which is just what I needed as the weather heats up. I've been using this in bed for the past couple of nights and it's definitely helped cool me down. The blanket feels very soft to touch, is nice and lightweight and just drapes over you. Very pleased!
