DORABO Mini Portable Pocket Rod Pen Shape Aluminum Alloy Fishing Rod with Pole Reel Combos (Blue)

I know most people are looking at this to fish for fish, but I bought it to fish for my kitten. I wanted a rod that I could attach cat toys to so I could let mine have more leeway to carry off her “prey” and so I could play with hthem r from my bed on lazy days. This thing is great. I can’t get it to cast well, but otherwise, the rod is fine. I just don’t know how heavy a fish you could land with it but if you just have a little spot where you catch bluegills or something small and you can extend the line and just drop it in the spot, it should be fine. If you want it for your cat toys, it’s oitstanding! I took off a star for the weak reel.

This rod is made ok but I was expecting the reel to at least be cheap metal. Its plastic. I got these to go into a small fishing back to fish small creeks so no casting is needed. I don't think you could really cast it well if you tried.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A POCKET SIZED FISHING POLE- I KNEW THIS WAS A NOVILTY PRODUCT, SO THAT IS NOT MY ISSUE. THE PICTURES SHOW PEOPLE PUTTING THIS IN THIER BREST POCKET, WHICH IS A JOKE AS THIS THING IS ABOUT 12 INCHES LONG LOL. IT IS OF COURSE SUPER CHEAP, BUT THE CLIP FOR SECURING THE REEL WAS BROKEN ON ARRIVAL SO THIS WILL PROBABLY JUST GO IN THE TRASH. WOULD SEND BACK BUT IT WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

it's more of a fun little gadget.If you're planning on catching fish, maybe get a real rod.

Havent used it yet. It seems kinda flimsy, it would be good for small fish, it fits good in my back pack and motorcycle saddle bag

It's great for a day of light fishing and to have fun

Fun for kids but your unable to cast

Reel never worked but rod is okay
