Simply wouldn't work
Although the end which connects to the cable seems to work well and will "bite" into the wires, the other end which takes the LED tape simply can't get a grip on it. Not only is there no electrical contact, but the LED strip simply pops out. I ended up ordering the strip connectors with cables already attached - they hold the tape much more securely and it's clear how an electrical contact is made. Maybe I was just useless with these connectors but they were a waste of money.
