FOOL-PROOF! AMAZING GF BLEND! Great to have on hand!
I felt like an idiot when I ordered these because it's such a huge quantity and I hadn't tried this mix but I'm so glad I did! I made the cranberry/orange recipe on the back, added 3/4 C white chocolate, and turned them into "dogbones" for my daughter's 9th birthday party spread and they were AMAZING! And even a hit with the 9 y.o. set!My bestie made me a regular version of these for years before I found out I was celiac. She was famous for them, and she made sure to have fresh ones every time we saw her. I've mourned having to eliminate these from my diet for the 9 years since I found out I was celiac! But these are so very close to her version, with the texture being the only slight difference. No matter what, texture will always differ in GF to wheat flours, but this texture is still tender, with only the slightest graininess at the end that most people don't pick up on. My family does because they're hyper-sensitive to it and have learned to automatically hate anything GF. (they don't have celiac) But even they begrudgingly admit that the flavor of these scones is awesome and that the texture is only the teeniest bit different.I just made a batch and colossally screwed up the recipe. I kept having to eyeball the bowl and try to get it right by eye which never works for me. But the batch was wonderful. It's absolutely fool-proof! Take it from a fool! I'm now delighted that I have more bags in the pantry and I keep unbaked scones in the freezer for guests and last-minute treats. One more note: I would say we tend to like things less sweet. So when I add white chocolate chips, I won't add ANY sugar. The white chocolate is more than enough sweetness for us, and we'll even use a tangy curd with it for even more bite.I've not seen Mama's at WF or my gourmet grocery stores so Amazon may be my only source. I'm going to try other Mama's blends now.

Flavor is good and I'm working on adapting it a bit
I am having a hard time figuring out how to not have my scones turn out gummy - texture is just not quite right. Flavor is good and I'm working on adapting it a bit. No solution yet

Highly recommend this mix.
This multi pack is economical (arenโt all gf people sick of getting ripped off in the grocery store?). This is delicious - can be made multiple ways. Like all gf- after baking I freeze and take out as I eat. I recently made a cherry crumble โ and mixed up a portion of this to put on top with the gf streusel topping. I use for scones and biscotti mostly- just mix and bake differently (I double bake the biscotti). After being gluten-free for three years what I miss the most are crunchy things occasionally with my coffee. Value and pricing are exceptional.

Unequivocally, great scones
This scone mix is great! All of my family, Celiac's or not, live it. We add a grated half a stick of butter (freeze butter before grating) to the mix for a scone with more buttery flavor.

NOT as good as King Arthur Flour GF Scone mix.
I found these to be heavy and gummy. I am going to try to return 5 of the bags.

This is a fantastic scone mix for GF people or even if there ...
This is a fantastic scone mix for GF people or even if there are no related grain problems. You can add anything desired to specialize you scones and it is a moist mix!!! Good job on the ingredients!! It's a no brainer on this mix! You really can't mess it up.
