Tesla Phone Mount Wireless Charging for MagSafe, Magnetic Tesla Phone Holder for Tesla Model 3 Model Y, Tesla Model 3/Y Accessories 2023 Fits All Phones

I ordered this MagSafe charger for my 2022 Model 3 because since Apple introduced MagSafe in phones, my built-in wireless charger wouldn't charge my phone. I upgrade every year, and the only way to get the in-car wireless charger to work is to take my case off and orient it on there a special way. Even then, my phone would overheat and give me a high temperature warning. Installing the mount was easy. I did, however, decide to mount it to the bottom of my screen so that my phone wouldn't be in the way as I drive. Cable management was a struggle too. I ended up tucking the cable along the outside edge of my center console so it’s not visible, but there was no way to plug it into the Type-C port inside my center console without either drilling a hole or having a bit of the cable cross over into the sliding tray. I instead plugged it into one of the Type-C ports where the rear A/C vents are. The cable could've been longer, but I can easily buy a longer Type-C cable if I need to. The performance of the charger is great. It holds my phone securely onto it, and the mount is very stable. There is a soft green-lit ring around the charger, which is only barely noticeable at night, so it's not a distraction when driving if it's not in use.

Good fit for my model Y 2024. Love the no-stick feature. I was a little confused about the direction to rotate the screws in the back to mount onto the screen. But once it was done, it was quite a secure fit. I was not able to figure out the usage of the wedge padding (with sticker). If I put it on, then it would be too narrow to mount to the screen. So I eventually did without that wedge.I mounted my phone (iphone 14 pro) vertically. It took some trying to get the right mount angle so that the steering wheel wouldn't block the phone and my phone wouldn't block the upper-left corner of the screen (where you need to see R-D-pause, etc).The Magsafe is very strong and holds my phone securely.The package came with a cable with USB-Cs on both ends.

This is a great product and unlike the others doesn’t need 3M tape to stick to the monitor. The magnet has good strength and holds my 16 pro max even with the size. It is slightly in the way but doesn’t take away from field of view. I ran the wire behind the center console and into the storage compartment to hide the wires. The wires were more than long enough and functions well when on the road and need to raise my phone to charge.The center charge station is not made for the 16 Pro/pro max so this was a great buy to allow me to charge.

You gotta tighten it the correct way, it works! I use mine on the lower left corner of my screen with iphone 16 pro max. Big phone. And it hold great! The magnet is strong! It has never fallen off my screen either and I use it daily for my work with repeated on and off all day. I did have an issue with the charge cable that came with it but it was easily replaced and working fine.I'm only rating 4 stars due to having to replace the charge cable.

What this does well: Holds a phone.What this does poorly: Charges the phone, and not damaging your screen.Upon clamping this to my Tesla model-3 screen (that has a matte-diffusion screen on it), the pressure from how the mount squeezes created a "light" ring around my entire screen that will not go away. If you think about what happens when you push your finger against an LCD computer monitor, that's the effect I'm describing. Now, the entire perimeter of my screen looks "pinched" at all times - the color is lighter, yellower, and generally messed up.And no, unfortunately removing the mount doesn't make the problem better. I've tried numerous remedies, and none work.I am not sure what exactly caused the problem, but I suspect that having any sort of screen-diffusor on your screen will cause this product to smash the screen inward, damaging the display. Unfortunately, I only discovered this too late.

This is a must have for all Tesla owners! I love being able to see my phone, and even vlog while I drive. It is sturdy and stays exactly where you place it - no tilting or falling. And the magnet is STRONG! Your phone is going nowhere even with unexpected bumps in the road. I did have to remove my case for the magnet to work, but it’s a small price to pay. And…. It includes a charger to charge while you drive! I am very pleased with this purchase and have already recommended it to friends. I don’t foresee needing a replacement but if I do, I’ll repurchase this exact one!

I like the design of phone holder, worked for a little while. the charger quit working all together. I have had phone holder for apxly 6 months. Now I see this product has been returned many times.

Every time I tighten it is eventually slips off again. Doesn’t grab enough of the screen.Update: company offered a refund.When the iPhone Max Pro is mounted directly diagonal from the screen corner the weight of the phone wiggles the stand off the screen corner over time. Seems to be working better with the phone is mounted directly parallel to the screen edge (lower). But sadly now the steering wheel blocks view of the phone.A good design, but needs more secure mounting solution.
