Attractive design and great for cooling off, this adjustable USB fan does the job
The media could not be loaded. Springtime and Summertime are hot seasons here in Mississippi, so it is great to have ways to keep cool that are cost-effective and don't require a lot of big equipment. This desk fan by Glamouric is a great desk fan and can be used outside as well, if you have a powerbank or power source to use it for.Lots to like about it: durable design, easy to move around to get it to the angle that best suits you and the price (less than $20) fits my budget. If there were any downsides to it I would say that it's the fact that it's just operating on one speed and that you have to have a power source to operate it. Other fans I have gotten in the past can be charged and used without a power source. This one needs something that you can plug the USB into in order to operate it. I used my powerbank which allows me to move it around, so as long as you have something to power it you'll be ok.Great design and definitely puts out enough air to make a difference, I am enjoying the two USB fans I purchased and will be telling others about them.

Noisy but powerful
The media could not be loaded. I work in a VERY quiet office that tends to be a little hotter than I’d prefer. I was looking for a fan that 1- wasn’t too big 2- looked nice 3- actually moved some air 4- was quiet.Cons: it is very loud for such a little fan. My coworkers complain that it sounds like a drone is flying around the office and I frequently avoid turning it on even if I am hot. Which defeats the whole purpose of buying it. I posted a video for reference.Pros- it looks nice on the desk. Years ago I had a fan on my desk and it was cheap and plastic. It didn’t matter at the time but now that I am in a front office, my desk needs to be presentable. For a tiny little fan it definitely moves the air around. When I DO use it, I find myself catching papers flying off my desk.Although I have plenty of outlets, the usb cord option is nice for those who need it. I plugged it into my monitor. But if you NEED to plug it into the wall you will need an adapter. For the price I was hoping for something a little quieter. It also would be nice to have more than one setting (low/med/hi - rather than “on/off”) The finish is classy compared to other desktop fans. However, in person, it does not justify the price point.Although I would encourage a friend to shop around, I wouldn’t discourage them from buying this product as long as they are aware of the caveats.

"Variable speed" feature is questionable but...
Overall I like this fan a lot. It is sturdy and the copper color is pretty. But the logo in the middle makes it U-G-L-Y. Get rid of the logo, it does nothing for this fan.I spent the few extra bucks on the “variable speed” model, but it doesn’t really make much of a difference. The little wheel control isn’t very sensitive so you basically get 2 speeds. FULL BLAST or a little less than full blast—and only if you move the wheel veeerrry slowly to catch it right before it turns completely off. So whether it’s worth the extra few dollars is up to you.Noise level: not bad but not super quiet either. My office is pretty still and you can hear it in the next cube over, but not much farther. It makes a nice amount of “white noise” it would just depend on how sensitive your office mates are.Not a bad purchase. Just get rid of the dumb logo.

Design+ Price+ | wish it came with a standard US 110v plug and 2x the power.
Great design, variable speed control, but would prefer this same fan with a standard 110v US plug and 2x the power.Bought this to replace a similar FUNME 6" Inch fan, that died on day 2 of use - but did blow a tad bit more air than the Glamouric that replaced it.GLAMOURIC vs FUNME 6" FansGLAMOURIC+ variable speed control+ blade durability (metal)+ still working a week laterFUNME- low/high speed only- blade durability (plastic)+ blade weight (???)+ tad more powerful- died on day two- died on day twoCOMMON TO BOTH= near identical design, aesthetics, size, etc.!= Glamouric = metal blades, FUNME = plastic blades-- negative for both, USB but do not come with USB adapters. I suspect this is the cause for disparate reviews regarding performance (those who use a proper 5V/1AMP charger cube = light whispy breeze, those using stronger cubes = more powerful breeze). It is also the likely cause for most failures. I would be much happier if these fans to include a standard 110v plug or come with a matched power cube.

Chic design, solid and sturdy, performs great!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this little fan so much! First of all, it’s attractive shiny copper color and modest size makes it blend in with my shabby chic bedroom furniture—the fan has a stylized Steampunk feel to it! It is very easy to operate, it only takes one touch of the finger to switch the fan on or off, and with one hand you can also tilt the fan housing to any angle you want. I point mine directly at my head or face at night, it generates a gentle, but respectable, cooling breeze on me which makes sleeping a whole lot more comfortable! The fan is very sturdy and the base stand also solid and stable, no vibrating or moving on my table top. I love how quiet it is, no noise, almost imperceptible sound. This fan is amazing, both for its chic style and great performance!

Great little fan!
Bought this to sit on my vanity sink area and it’s perfect. I needed a small fan while I heat styled my hair that did not take up too much space on my counter. This is very appropriately sized for limited space and great if you will it have facing you directly and not too far away from you. It is USB only so if you need to connect to outlet you will need additional usb wall adapter.

Nice little fan, but with disappointing speed control noises. However, there is a way to fix it.
I was initially disappointed with this fan. At full power, very noisy from the air movement (probably to be expected). Anything less than full power, less air noise but in its place, the motor making an annoying buzzing/pulsing noise from the PWM signal being sent via the speed controller.So... I took it apart. I added a 1000uF electrolytic capacitor across the motor wires to smooth the PWM signal coming from the speed controller to the motor. I'm not claiming to be an wizard with electronics (nowhere near!), but I know just enough to tweak things like this (and be dangerous!).The result is now a fan which can be slowed down without the previous annoying buzzing/pulsing sounds and has gone from something I was originally thinking of returning, to something I can quite happily have running at around 20% power (I'd guess) for a small amount of comfortable, quiet air movement on my desk.So a 3 star review from me. A nice little fan, but not without issues - that can be overcome with a bit of tweaking, but shouldn't have needed to be overcome in the first place.

Should do the job when it warms up
I bought this little fan to keep me cooler in my home office as the weather starts to improve. It's not a proper big powerful fan, so my expectations were sensible and it seems to do the job. It's pretty quiet and when I've plugged it into my laptop it has pushed enough air at me. I am tempted to try plugging it into a dedicated USB power supply to see if that improves the fan's power, but I'm overall happy with it.

Decent airflow but issues with cable
Overall not sure if its worth the price but I can't be bother returning it.Not sure if anyone else has issues with build quality. I will just take it apart and fix the issues myself.Cons:The cable was loose out of the boxThe variable speed is not worth it as it will create an annoying whining noise. It should just have an on off switch as the variable volume controller is not up for the jobProsGood airflowVery light and easy to transportGreat quality rubber feet

For its size this is a great little fan.
For its size this is a great little fan. The on/off switch on the cable is a little wheel so you can adjust the speed slightly. In the hot weather I actually placed the fan under my desk blowing air around my feet (I already had a large free standing fan in the office but my feet and legs did get any benefit from it) it worked well as an additional fan, if it will be your only fan I might suggest a larger one!

Noise level
Looks nice but a bit noisy also the switch for which level you want has no makings on it so you have to guess I just unplug it so it stays at the level I want so I don't have to spend ages as I use it at night and the higher you go the noisier it becomes if its quiet you want I wouldn't recommend this
