I love this poker for the outdoor fire pit. The handle is long and I do not burn my hand. I like the hook on it to help move the fire wood when it's burning. I recommend this product.

No wobbles, no loose joints, nothing falling apart. A poker should be somewhat heavy... this one is just right. A solid piece that doesn't make me feel like I can't poke the fire and work the timber. Very glad I picked this one up.

It still was a good purchase though.

I bought this fire poker to add to our camping gear. It's perfect for that purpose since it collapses into just a bit over 12" or so in length. The poker is actually made of four separate parts--the handle, the two-piece arm, and the fire poker hook and spear tip. I deducted one star because I'm at least a little bit worried that the hook will fall off into a campfire accidentally if it happens to unscrew without us knowing. We'll just have to be mindful and check that everything is screwed together tightly before each use.Update: I removed a second star from this review because, under normal use, the hook end of this fire poker almost always became loose. This required us to have to constantly be tightening the hook over and over almost every time we adjusted our campfire. It was super annoying. If there was a way to permanently secure the four pieces of this fire poker, that would be nice, but it would also defeat the benefit of the compact size that it can collapse to when all the pieces are unscrewed from one another.

Comes in a small box and easily assembled. Worked very well and met the needs of my order.

Used this summer when we were camping to stoke the camp fire. It's sturdy and can break down into smaller pieces if it's not in use.

Works well, looks nice, good price.
