Its not at all bad, but you'll need bright sun for 3 days to charge.
Ok so its a great little unit and the battery has plenty of power to charge devices. BUT, unless you have bright sunshine and leave it pointed at the sun all day you'll not get much charge. Right now in the south of UK I have had it in the sun for the last three days of the June 2019 heat wave and I got just about a full charge from almost completely discharged*. So I guess it would keep a iPhone charged up without needing a electrical socket. You would need one of these per phone if you were away camping or hiking and hope for full bright sun all day. If that meets what you need then I would recommend this unit.* I discharged it with a USB fan until it stopped spinning then I ran the LED light till it had no bars of charge, the led would still light but wouldn't charge anything.

Very portable. Same size as my Smart phone
Showing 3 out of 4 bars so connected to wall socket. Solar panels opened inside room showed charging so works in low light. Two USB outputs.

Great
A little smaller than I thought, but great to travel with and seems to charge with not-so-direct sunlight.
