I giggle every time it goes off nice sound
We have an African gray that doesn't fly but instead walks around our home and he runs down the hallway demanding for us to open my daughter's bedroom door to be opened he told me he needs to take a look I told him you know she's at work she's not in there he screams at me open the damn door. So after I ordered it I sat it just by the door and turned on a moving fan that was remote control amazingly I can work the fan with out being right in front of it so I would set off the bird chirping he then started running down the hallway I told him he needs to start going beep beep like the Roadrunner it is so cute and he starts screaming there's a bird in there open the door no bird allowed in there but Einstein Elizabeth isn't home get the damn bird out he started throwing a fit so I did move it and I sat the bird on the floor to block off an area that he likes chewing on and to mess with him so now he says there is a bird any ghosts down there hallway running and screaming out you can't go into Elizabeth's room no one goes in Elizabeth's room only Einstein can go in to her room Elizabeth is my girl not yours he tells the bird to get out it is funny and I should video it but we are laughing so much that we can't hold a phone still to video it I guess once the new wears off I'll be able to not laugh so hard that I can post a video.Okay so about the product it felt a little delicate I was scared I was going to break it when placing the tail into the body of the bird and placing the bird on the tree branch it has little metal strips that have to be connected the first attempt did not connect the bird where the bird would not move it would just do the chirping sounds I attempted a second time and praying I would not break it pushing on both the branch and on the feet of the bird was a little difficult with my arthritis fingers but I was successful and didn't hear anything break and installed batteries a second time and everything works and it is very good sound and we like it you don't see the on and off button it is hidden within the tree stump so you got to know exactly what to push to turn it on or off which I kind of like that so not just anybody can turn it off.. the sound is loud and sometimes because we play our TV loud it being down the hallway it has gone off chirping and Einstein wasn't down in the hallway. But as I'm doing this review one of the questions was volume control and I'm going to have to get up and go down the hallway turn it on and see if the volume control is in the little stump that I know when you push it down is the on and off button however I am curious if it turns counterclockwise or clockwise for volume control I didn't see instructions in detail however I do remember the print being very small and hard for me to see so I only remember seeing diagram for the stump and noticing it had a little jiggle to it so I figured it out as it was the on and off button so if there is a volume control that would be very cool or even a sensor control of how sensitive it would be it may be on the device that it is hidden very well-known. I've used it for the purpose to mess with my African gray and I also put it at the front door so I would know when my home care provider walked in she was notorious for not waking me up if I had dozed off along with a motion light that went on very bright shining right at me so I knew I would definitely wake up from my nap.. I have thought of many different ways to use this around the home to notify us that our bird is going into an area for he is very sneaky he knows how to open the door and climb down and sneak right past our chairs and try to get into our daughter's bedroom. We've made sure he can't get near any extension cords everything has been lifted up intact to the wall or covered up with other baseboards and so forth I plan to purchase other ones that may make different sounds so I know where he is walking because he doesn't always tell us most of the time he does he says hey woof woof Kathy Jo I'm on the floor so there is many different ways we can use cute little devices like this and for the price I paid I didn't believe it would be as good as it is however do pay close attention that it is plastic and you have to push very firmly to get it into place and at that moment it could break I was very lucky it did not and once it is put together I don't see you having to take it apart again and so once you do get it put together correctly it is great and I like that it's not fabric so it's easy to dust off with a damp cloth as anything we get and keep for a long time dust will build up and if my African gray Einstein does ever decide to attack it which he hasn't he just yells and screams and cusses at it and I tease them saying that bird is going to love Elizabeth Elizabeth is going to have a new bird in her life and of course he says no Einstein is hers Einstein's her pretty bird and he argues with me and I say well if you keep talking ugly to her to the bird then she'll never be your girlfriend and he says Elizabeth is his only girlfriend LOL anyways the price I paid I will do it over again if it is ever broken by Einstein it is very cute and I love messing with our African gray he is our entertainment in the house and it gave us something else to talk with him about LOL and I like that it doesn't look like a toy it looks like a knick knack and it goes with our bird room that has paintings and bird clocks and many other bird necks that I have collected through the years but yet serves a purpose within my home alerting me when someone walks in or are bird is being making around trying to get somewhere he's not supposed to go and the sound it gives off isn't annoying and we know what that sound is and others people visiting thought we just had another bird in another room and they would say I thought you only had one bird Einstein and I told him I have sensors that make bird sounds instead of a beeping alarm that can get annoying and African grays are notorious for sounding like a smoke detector or microwave Etc and then you find yourself replacing batteries that don't need to be replaced and or removing all batteries and still can't find where the beat is coming from because you're African gray knows how to throw the sound in a complete different area of the home than where he is at yes we've been there multiple times lol and mother-in-law that was babysitting for us ended up removing all batteries out of smoke detectors and plugging microwaves Etc and still couldn't figure it out I told her get your smoke detector batteries back in plug everything back in it is Einstein messing with you he gets a kick out of it watching you go around and taking all the stuff apart you're showing him how to take your things apart and when he gets out of his cage he is notorious for unscrewing things so check your table screws and anything he climbs up on he even unscrews light bulbs from your lamps so now you see why we needed motion detectors so we know where the bird is.. and again this price for a motion detector is very cheap and it offers lots of laugh within my home and it is not annoying to hear. Great product I hope it will last a long time and I am impressed so far I have not had to replace the batteries it is still going good..

You'll either LOVE it... or the opposite of love it.
The media could not be loaded. Raise your hands if you ever grew up with a pet bird. They are beautiful and chirp and sometimes can be trained to do cool tricks... but they are messy and fragile and need a fair amount of unique care. THIS BIRD will take you back to those days... but without the birdseeds in your hair and cages and newspaper shredded about. Press a button on its branch or clap your hands to make it sing! It could gain a fifth star from me if it had a better paint job... it does feel a little fragile too... but the motion of the bird is what really gives it a life-like feel. I just hope i don't annoy the rest of my household by activating it... too often.

A Great Parrot Toy
The media could not be loaded. The Tipmant Electronic Bird Toy brings us joy with its movements and sounds, acting like a real parrot. Great decor for home or office. However, I can feel the material of this product is not in a high quality. But based on its price, I think that's worth with its value. Overall, it's a fun and entertaining gadget for adults or kids keeping at home.
