This product was of good quality, the fit was perfect and it works well. The baskets catch everything as they should. Couldn't beat the price

It's heavy and sturdy. I got one for my "In-sink-erator" drain and one for the smaller sink that has a regular drain (it is 3-1/4" wide but has a 2" hole down inside it). It stops water and blocks food in the Insinkerator side, but I couldn't get it to fit well in the side with the inside, 2" hole. I am OK with that because I have a good black rubber stopper anyway. Price was reasonable, could be a little cheaper. But I wasn't expecting the sturdiness.

I feel compelled to write this review based on a lot of the issue I had with this when first used. A lot of bad reviews about slow leakage and no seal might be cause by having no instructions on how to use. The stopper in the center has a large drop in to plug only if turned around so the slots line up with the groves. Otherwise, there will be a slow leak. Hold the device in one hand by the outer edge and turn the knob slowly until the center plug drops down. There are 2 places but the lowest one should plug the sink. When you need to drain simply lift and turn to look the drain back up. Easy but not with some work. Hope this helps someone.

Well made, high quality. Easy to toggle between strainer and stopper.

I am replacing the Opella drain that I inherited with my house, I am tired of all the debris that the Opella drain lets through and then clogs my sink. This fit perfectly in my 3 inch diameter opening. The holes are small enough to keep the debris out but large enough to easily clean the debris from the strainer. I have no trouble keeping the strainer set up to allow the water to flow freely but it also works well as a stopper when I want it to.

As frustrating as it is, I still can’t find a stopper that fits my sink. Just kinda bummed because I really thought this one would work.

I've bought so many of these over the years. Most of them have been so unreliable. This one functions beautifully. It's the small things in life that better function right, cause we ain't got time for that!

The item received was not 3 1/2 inches. The item I received was 3 1/4 inches at the largest diameter from one side of the upper lip to the other side. 3 1/4 was the maximum possible measurement or diameter.Not what I expected, not what I ordered.
