JBFF 233TC 100% Cotton Down Alternative Blanket (Full/Queen, Sage)

This is the perfect year round blanket. (living in the Pacific Northwest)This is the perfect blanket and we now have these on all 4 beds (1kg 1qn 2twn) in our home year round.In the cooler months we add a heavy quilt to the layers which is nice and toasty.Others have complained of it being 'noisy/crinkly', which is one reason we like this so much.The 'noisy/crinkly' is the cotton percale cover, as on an eiderdown quilt, which also gives it a cool (but cozy) feel in warmer months.Being washable is just a huge bonus.

I purchased two of these king blankets recently. One for me and one for my cabin rental. I absolutely love it! I’m not sure how it works but it seems to be able to adjust my heat and the heat in the room, (I prefer very cold) for total comfort, without feeling overheated. I used it on top of my washable wool blanket last night and added a light wool throw on top of both and slept like a baby all night even though the temp was 54 in the bedroom in the morning. Typically I would have needed 3 wool blankets and the throw or a very thick alternative comforter on top of 2 or 3 blankets, which feels very heavy and sweaty. This blanket never feels heavy and I love the very slight crinkly sound which makes it feel rich. Typically I’m very fussy about any kind of noise. I hope I’m not making it very popular so as hard to get or price goes up. LolI had to down grade from 5 to 4 stars due to not able to get a noticeable odor out of this blanket. This is the kacki colored one only. I have washed it three times and still the odor so must be the dye. I now have two of the cream colored blankets and no odor. If you’re sensitive to even mild odors from dye you should be aware of this.

We LOVE this blanket so much we bought another one. Light and warm, my two favorite words when it comes to blankets for winter or summer (when the air conditioner is on). (Only noise it makes is near the tag -- go ahead and remove that and you'll be just fine.)Cotton fabric isn't very soft, but may soften up with washing.Cons: Only comes in White right now -- and other colors not great.Still, we love it!

I just washed it and it feels really rough still. I think it may just need time, but it’s making me miss my last comforter that was 100 percent cotton and softer than soft.Update: i was right about it needing time and it was only a week before i realized how much both me and sphinx love sleeping under this comforter!

This was such a great purchase! It's just the right thickness, and the cotton is breathable and crisp. I washed it right away and it came out totally fine, which was important to me! I bought the king size for a queen bed and it's definitely meant for a bigger bed, but I actually like having the extra hanging over the sides. It's the same size as another king blanket I have as well.**August 2021 update: I've been washing this weekly since I got it in February 2019. It's held up perfectly! The only sign of wear is 1 tiny loose thread that appeared recently - I snipped it and it's basically good as new. I wash it hot and bleach it regularly and I'm really, really impressed with how it's held up.

❤️❤️❤️I have searched high and low. Finally a light weight easily washable, blanket. No "microfibers". No "blends. Beautiful cotton like my mamas sheets drying on a line. The smell of cotton percale... the smell of memories.

I love this blanket, but it's very ugly! I've been in search for an inexpensive, 100% cotton blanket that will keep me both warm and static free and this one hits the mark. I purchased the green colored blanket and it's not nearly as dark as the picture shows, so it's way more feminine looking than what I thought. But I'm still using it since it was a fantastic price and it works really well.

I liked absolutely nothing about this blanket. It should be called a yellowish tarp. It looks used and dingy and it's very noisy like a tarp. What a sad waste of money. Ugh dingy yellow. Not white. Also, it is very small. You can not tuck it in and my mattress is not that thick. Very disappointing. Nothing like the picture.
