Brighter than you might think.
I bought these to light up my tent during night vendor events. I bought 2 sets of 4. They do fairly well,I have attached a picture. Easy to operate, battery installation is also marked and user friendly. However they do eat batteries fairly quickly. I get approx 4 to 5 hours usage pr battery set before they get too dim to be effective, and I use the good ones. My solution to this is rechargeable batteries. It is the only reason I gave them 4 stars not 5. Battery life could be better.

They love them. And Work really good
The media could not be loaded. I bought these lights for camping and for the kids to use as nightlights in the room. They love them. And Work really good. All four lights come with four AAA batteries and have three modes. Bright, dim and flashing .

A few Tips and Heads Up Before Purchasing
They are more fun lights for photoshoots than practical lights. An awesome product but they are only light weight plastic so once you bang them they will break or at least bruise. They aren't as sturdy and 4 of them will not light up your average 2 person tent. They will just give your enough light to vaguely see (like a night light but not as focused). They are the type of lights designed for beautiful photoshoots and not to be able to see in the dark. Also make sure to buy your own batteries (3 AAA per bulb, so 12 total). The batteries that come in the box are cheap and recycled so they won't work for long. Also the button is sensitive and will go off if it touches anything. If you plan on packing them make sure to pack them in a towel to keep them from breaking since they are hollow. Avoid keeping them on the outside of your backpack when you don't need light.

Good idea but beware
I purchased a pack of blue and a pack of black. They were intended to use under my canopy after dark for craft shows. They did help keep the area lit but it took all 8 plus another larger light for the 10x10 area. We were also without power for 3 days due to a hurricane and they worked ok so we were not completely in the dark. The main problem is the batteries corrode easily and eat up the whole battery container. I only used the batteries that came with it once due to they leaked, and then purchased the good name brand bunny batteries and they even “melted” in this situation! I like the idea, but the battery housing is just no good! Out of 8 lights I only have 2 that are usable! They have been put up for about 3-4 months with the good batteries in them and 4 are useless. The first 2 went bad after having batteries in them for about 2 months! If you do purchase don’t leave the batteries in them like you can a flashlight or you’ll have a nasty melted battery mess!

great little lights, but they do eat batteries quickly!
I took these on a boy scouts camping trip with my boys. the lights were great, I was using a tarp and trying to camp light weight, and one bulb light up my tarp/tent just fine. my oldest went around all weekend with it clipped to his pants instead of using his head lamp. the only thing is that after every second or third camp out, i need to replace the batteries because these go dim so quickly. the photos show my tent at night with the light bulb on, and during the day.

Good lightning, long lasting battery
Used these for 2 nights camping. One is enough for decent lighting in 5 person tent. Used each night from sunset until about midnight in summer each night. I let a couple borrow one for their 2 person tent. It was the only light they had each night, but it worked well for them. We returned from our trip with all for lights still working! They also held up to young kids using them, playing with them, rubbing them on and off a lot. They are really light weight, too. Not as bright as a lantern, of course, but they will light up your tent or around your shade tent enough to eat under sand see what you're eating or find little things like electrical plugs from your power cords and such. Nice that they come with panasonic brand batteries, too. Good value.

lights is bright! I hung on dog harness while walking
the light is bright I have 3 large dogs and hung on the back of the harness while walking and on the leash, I loved how bright it the light was. I feel these lights would be excellent for tent use. However, with for walking large dogs that enjoy banging around and with a few times I dropped the leash they weren't able to hold up to long. I would NOT say it is lights fault. The reason I give 4 stars is even during our calm walks the lights sometimes would just turn off? then I would have to turn on this happened to often then i would like many times in the middle of our walk and it is hard to find the on button since it is also in black and at this point, you are in the dark. Again I not sure if it was a light problem? or battery was dying, but i am betting on the battery and if so keep in mind the lights were only used for about 15 minute walks nightly then turned off I used them for about 2 weeks before I ordered something else that suited our needs.

Real bright for a small bulb. Good for an emergency.
These lights are a lot smaller then I anticipated but the light they give off are fantastic. I plan on hanging them around the patio if there is a blackout. They give off plenty of light. They have three settings. Real bright, slightly dimmer & blinking. I plan on telling my neighbor if you see a blinking light it means I'm in trouble. Great idea for my neighbors in the senior community I live in. Would buy again.
