The toy does not lay flat when pushed together...so it doesnt "pop" open after a few seconds which is what would get the dogs attention... its made of this plastic and not durable. We tossed in trash.

This mechanism that held it together before popping apart didn't work. It just popped right back up. Our Lab loved it. She grabbed it , flung it, shook it, gnawed it, and broke it in 2 spots in about 30 min. Great fun while it lasted.

I purchased this for my granddogs (Shiba inus) who visit every month or two. They really enjoyed it and quickly figured out how to flatten it into a disc themselves and let it pop back up. They loved when I would flatten it since the suction would last longer. However, their enjoyment was very short-lived - they had destroyed it within a few hours. So, if you have avid chewers, this product will not last very long.

This shouldn't be advertised for dogs. Young kids maybe, but not dogs. I thought my dog would have fun with it after seeing the pictures but it's really cheap plastic with batteries inside and after fetching it, my dog's first instinct was to rip at it with his teeth. Also, the pop-out suction cup function has no use for a dog. They don't know how to hold it down to make it pop back out.

I got this for my Collie who loves balls. He was not a big fan of this one. It gave him more anxiety with it's popping open. After a week of use, the suction cup that is supposed to keep it in saucer mode, no longer works. I tried cleaning the suction cup to get it to stick and hold the ball into a saucer again, but it just doesn't work. It was challenging for my dog to grab and carry the ball. I do not recommend this for a long narrow-nosed dog, like the collie, or a small dog. For the playful lab or golden retriever, with a wider mouth, it might be their new favorite toy.

Despite the advertisement, these toys are not fun for dogs! They don't stay flat like the advertisement shows. They are hard to push down and don't stay down. They pop up too quickly, not giving the dog enough tie to investigate. My Golden Retrievers are very playful and were very interested in paying with these toys, but considering that it was hard to press down each time and that they would pop up so quickly, I'd say save your money for a better toy!

Fun toy … for about 5 minutes! Then it is easily torn or chewed apart - easily breaking out the lights making it useless for play. Do not recommend if your pup has any chewing tendencies
