Read this for proper set up
Product works great after proper set up. Other similar Bluetooth relays wouldn't work for me because I have a new phone with the latest Android system and their apps were not compatible/ available with the newer version. This relay is and the android app is "BlueSPP_37". This device is NOT compatible with Apple IOS.Download the app and power up relay. First go to your phone's bluetooth settings and pair with relay (security code 1234 if asked). After pairing open up the app. Go to the tab that says switches. Hit the button labeled "connect" and select relay off the list. Select a button and enter a button label/ name (your choosing) then select to send message in HEX (hexdecimal) and then enter the code from my picture. Once properly programmed it works great.One last note: once I got an error message about not being able to connect because of a port issue.. message gets cutoff. Cycle relay control power (the in+,in-) and you souls be able to connect again. Enjoy!

Poor app, too much hassle to get it working. Need to make it simpler with a better app and setup.
Even with instructions provided by another person who purchased this and figured out how to make this work, no luck for me. Why should we have to deal with all this anyway ? Just provide a working app that simplifies usage like everyone else.

Zero instructions
Literally no instructions sent with relays. Good thing another poster listed the app needed and the basic instructions. Once I rolled those, the relay works.
