I have been looking for some time for a replacement backpack of this size. Quality is the issue. Most of these type of products all come from the same Asian/Chinese sweat shops. If you want better quality you need to spend more money and read a lot of reviews. I wanted a bag that would fit under airline seats. Not all planes have the same size seats. It was important to me to find a bag that was no more than 12 inches wide and no more than about 17 inches tall. This bag fits those dimensions. I decided to try another Swiss Army type backpack as I had another older one that is good quality but it is made for laptops and it is to wide to fit under plane seats. This pack seems to be of a good quality for bags made today. It does not have to many pouches as I tend to forget where I put something with to many pouches. I noticed the bag had no bad smell when I opened it which was rare for new Asian bags. My only complaint with this bag is the shoulder straps. After you adjust them the excess straps just hang there with no way to retain them. I folded them up neatly and put a couple of zip ties on them. This bag is small but it can hold a lot of stuff and it expands out. It is not made for a laptop. I bought this bag for $39. and it is $54. usually on line. Good Luck to you. MADE IN VIETNAM
