Ball valve screws into existing defective or worn 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch od compression angle stop, straight stop or fitting creating a new stop without disturbing the existing piping turn off water to existing stop prior to installation of piggyback retrofit.

Worked as expected.
This item worked just like I expected it to. I like the lever design rather than the normal twist lever looking design that is standard for valve controls. But it still works the same. There were no instructions that came with the valve. But another brand i purchased at the same time indicted that Teflon tape is required. So I used tape on the supple line.
