Solid and made to last
This heavy duty rubber sealed the gap under my garage door which is now effectively waterproof. It is easy to fit, provided you follow the instructions. Tips - Unroll the rubber and keep it in a warm room overnight to make it more workable (It's delivered rolled up tight). Cut to size using a sharp knife or small hacksaw, measuring at least twice and cutting once! Warm the tube of mastic prior to use, maybe in a bowl of warm water or leave it on a radiator to make it more usable. You will need a good mastic gun and you will have sore hands by the time you've finished. Importantly, make sure your garage floor is completely dry, clean and flat. I had to chip away a few pieces of concrete, scrub the floor with a stiff wire brush, and then vacumn off the debris. Hard work but essential if the mastic is going to do its job. I used the mastic straight out of the tube, without cutting off any of the plastic nozzle, and had plenty of mastic to do a really thorough job, with some left over. I found the mastic started to cure in a couple of hours, and that was on a cold day. The rubber and mastic come with a pair of disposable gloves, which were flimsy, split easily and were totally useless. Finally, try not to get any mastic on your hands, but if you do you can remove small quantities with white spirit. Why 4 stars? The price - This is a piece of rubber, and it's a pretty expensive one.

This really is a garage door seal
I have always suffered from having leaves from a nearby oak tree blown under my garage door, together with grit, dust and other flat-ish bits & pieces. I bought the 8ft kit to reduce this. The ends needed notching - in fact one end needed about 15cm cutting off to bring it down to 8ft, and I found a fine toothed saw better than a Stanley knife for this - less risky to fingers and main blood vessels! The gap was less than 7mm across the width of the doorway and varied by no more than 2-3 mm. Using the online instructions, I used the polyurethane to 'fill' the most serious depressions and applied both glue and rubber strip as instructed. Closing the door, I was able to gently apply weight to push the seal against the back of the door and down to the floor until no light was visible between door and seal. I then opened the door and put more weight - pressing down with my foot - all along the strip bringing a small amount of glue out along the edge of the strip. I scraped this off with a narrow screwdriver to provide a neat bead along the strip. Two days later it has held fast and the polyurethane has cured. Despite strong winds on the face of the door, I've had no leaves or rubbish in the garage. 100% successful, and for just £30 I'd judge it to be pretty good value - the glue isn't cheap on its own, and the rubber seems pretty good quality as it will have to withstand the weight of a vehicle passing and re-passing without lasting deformation.

Seems bulletproof
I'm happy with this so far.Main reason - to stop rodents getting in, but I have always ended up with leaves in the garage in autumnCheck the clearance under your door at all points - mine wasn't uniform. I could have used the thicker seal, but compensation is possible by how far you position the highest part of the seal under the door. It will become clear.Instructions are easy, you may not get a dead straight line for the above mentioned reason. The glue is highly effective and pretty much impossible to remove when set. Mine oozed out the edges a bit, but I've camouflaged the seepage (and the curvature caused by my uneven floor) by painting a straight edge with driveway paint and masking tape. You might not need to and the strip itself will look great.Weight the strip down for setting and check it doesn't move, particularly any bits where the unevenness of the floor means the strip doesn't sit right down. Once stuck, thats it. there's no pulling it up for another go once set.No rain, wind or blowing leaves since installation, but the gap under the door eliminated.

Good product, but not exactly as described.
Fairly happy with this product. The delivered rubber strip is not the same as the one shown - the picture shows an asymmetrical design (in cross section), whereas the one I received has a symmetrical shape - a central ridge with thinner sections both sides, so that it could be used either way around. Also the adhesive is different: the description is of a black glue, whereas the one I received was brown in colour. But neither of these differences were really a problem for me. To get a good seal you need to make sure that your floor is level and at exactly the right height. Mine wasn't at all, so I spent time with some of this ready mix cement: http://www.u-can.tv/product/high-strength-concrete-repair-5kg/ , levelling and building up the floor until it was a consistent 8-10mm below the closed garage door. Once fully set I trimmed the strip and glued it down as per the video. End result is a very close fit and which doesn't impede the closing of the door at all. So very pleased with the final result, but the key is preparing the floor properly before fitting.

A good product good price
Super quick delivery which was a bonus. Wear gloves when using the sealant. The seal itself has worked really well as the gap under my door was slightly larger than average and so this seal being of better height than others was just the job. I butted seal quite tight to inside of the garage door and when I close the door it has a more solid sound. Standing in the garage with lights off I can’t see any light coming into garage so the seal must be very good. Only painted garage floor a few weeks ago but I keyed the paint and it has stuck really well. Overall very happy with this product for the price.

Easy to fit and strong adhesion
Well worth purchasing. Easy to fit and adhesion has worked like a charm, no coming away from ground. A bit of advice, and school boy error on my part, drew the lines on the floor and added adhesion on the line and not inside the line, so when laying it down the adhesion was just touching the ends, still worked but could have been better.
