One of the Best SEO Books I've read
I've been doing SEO for a number of years and have tried numerous techniques and courses to improve my knowledge. Now and then I'll grab a book to remind myself of the core fundamentals required for gaining rank, just to see if I'm missing or forgotten a step. This book, written by people who do SEO sets you out on the right path. The steps contained in this book will give you a solid foundation to build on.Exceptionally well written and packed full knowledge.

Great book, forget the competition!!
This book is excellent (spelling errors and American-isms aside....) and contains lots of useful, easy to follow and well structured tips and advice to make your website stand out in Google searches. There are so many books promising similar results but of the dozen or so I looked at, this was easily the best. For a novice there is enough here to keep you going for a long time but it's written in such a way as to be manageable and not overwhelming.I was also attracted by the promise of a free website audit carried out by the author's company. This may take some time to arrive (but it is free!), however, I found it to be well worth the wait with even more constructive tips and pointers. Anything I didn't understand was easy to look up in either this Google book or the accompanying book on Profitable Social Media Marketing.Overall, highly recommended, if you stick to only one book on this subject, it would be hard to find a better one than this (and the one on Social Media Marketing). The price is practically a give-away too.

recommend to improve SEO understanding
Well written book full of advice for new and moderate in house website development. liked the structure and process, disliked the heavy linkage. Would of been 5 star if linkage had real quality tools.

useful and action packed
A good helpful read and inspired some ideas that developed the content that’s got specific services getting more traffic and converting it to consultations.

Perfect for beginners such as myself to start understanding SEO!
SEO has always just been something that I've avoided due to the fact that I don't understand it and it seems expensive to ask a company to do. During lockdown, I decided to put all my energy into creating a new website in WordPress but wanted to ensure it paid off and generated traffic. Since reading this book, I am certainly not a professional but I believe I have a clear understanding of exactly how SEO works and what Google looks for when deciding on where to rank my site. It's not a full on geek book and was fully understood by someone that has never even looked at SEO before. Yes it's got a grammar mistake here and there but, I'd rather have good SEO training than average training with perfect grammar. If you're a down to earth human that wants to simply learn SEO - this is a must have! Really looking forward to my website review once it's live! Thanks Tim - great read!

5/5: Excellent SEO Guidebook WITHOUT Fluff!
I really can't recommend this book more. It's written in plain English with no fluff. It doesn't delve too deeply. Instead, it opts to give you a broad overview of SEO and breadcrumbs you can follow to learn more.If you're a small business owner who doesn't have the budget to hire a decent freelancer or agency, I imagine this book would become your bible. There's a lot of nonsense and over-complication running around in this field, but there's none of it here. It's honest and to-the-point, and I love it for that.If you do have some basic SEO knowledge, you might find it a bit basic. Even then, I found it illuminating to see their process (as it's written by a digital marketing agency in the UK).I bought the Kindle edition at £0.99. It's an absolute bargain. Get it.

Needs Proof Reading & Cut the Spam!
I had high hopes for this book from all the reviews but unfortunately having almost finished it my mind is only focussing on the negatives. As someone else wrote, the author/publisher needs to hire a proof reader - missed words, missed letters, sentences that do not make sense. Really annoying to read! Also the author discusses the fact that Google hates spam and so do I so the constant references to go to his site for free reviews, site designs etc are not welcome when I have paid full money for a book. One reference is fine, another at the end of the book fine but to be spammed constantly with references/sales pitch to go to his business is annoying. Will the audit really be free with no strings attached? I would like to think so but if you are going to be bombarded with emails or calls afterwards then its not free of hassle so I shall try it and see!The positives - a lot of great tips and up to date too. Rich snippets, the latest directories to list with and the whole section on Google Places/Local and advice on linking back to this. Would be great to have screen shots to show how to register with these things. Proof read, cut the spam/sales pitch and add some visual screen shots and I would give it 5 stars.
