Everland's Organic Coconut Milk - Rich & Creamy, NON GMO, NON BPA Lining, Plant Based, Canned in Canada, 6 Pack of 400ml cans

After reading other reviews, I decided to take a chance on one can, and glad I didn't order more. There is definitely so much "off" about this coconut milk. The consistency is off, it is has some specks and feels more like coconut oil blended with water. While trying to figure out why it is so different from my usual canned coconut milk choices, I realized the ingredients say "coconut extract" not actual coconut. Hence the big difference. Anyway I took a chance on this when it was on for a super low price, as part of the "add on" specials, which could have been a great deal for some who don't mind this kind of coconut milk, but seeing the normal price now I would definitely not recommend. So many much better options. Hopefully this product gets a re-make to become real coconut milk.

Good, but not great. I found this brand to be more oily than most Ive tried, perhaps the lower coconut and guar gum?. The actual contents are: Organic coconut extract (53%), Water, Organic guar gum (E412). This percentage is less coconut than many other natural store bought kinds, so I would not purchase it again for my intended purposes.

It's the best organic coconut milk on Amazon Canada currently, but I think there's room for improvement. I drink over 1 can per day. A full can in my daily shake, and then more in my food (usually curries I make weekly).Pros:- I love the tab to open. No need for a can opener. Easy to open.- Nice price point considering shipping with prime is free. It saves me a walk to the grocery store.Cons:- The taste could be better. It's definitely better than other brands I've bought off Amazon, although there's still better tasting ones in my grocery store. I would like to see a better quality coconut milk on Amazon. Give me one with straight coconut extract and water. No guar gum would be preferable!- Limited to a maximum of 5 currently per order. I would prefer to order at least 10 at once if not more going through a can daily.

I ordered 5, opened 2 and both were very chunky when blending it, the smell and taste seemed ok. I had to heat it up for the chunks to go away but then it did not turn out the same in our recipe...I have tried other brands and they always come out smooth when blended. Maybe I got a bad batch but I'm not impressed.

This coconut milk was perfect for the Thai curry I made using it. It was super creamy tasting, and a very good value relative to canned coconut I see in the grocery stores near my home (this Organic brand is cheaper than the regular brands at my local supermarket!). I will definitely repurchase.
