Giinii Dash Camera (GD-188X)

My friend has had one of these for about a year. It captures good quality pics, video and decent audio. I was already sold on it before I purchased it. The only drawback is the lack of a micro sd card, but those are inexpensive. The motion sensor could be more sensitive

I use this in my semi truck and it it is the best camera I have ever used. The picture quality is really good and having to separate views is awesome. The lense is wide enough to capture my whole hood and video playback is smooth. Only negative I can think of is getting to the correct memu your looking for can be tricky at 1st and scrolling though your videos is somewhat of a pain. I had one before but it fell off my windshield and broke and I knew that i liked it so much I got the same model again.

I use the product every day. I have not verified that the SD card is recording or the quality of the recording. The picture is clear during the day and at night. I will upgrade to one that has WiFi and 1080p on the rear camera. The camera doe come on if you bump the car while parked for about 20 seconds. I purchase wires to have the camera run 24 hours but I haven’t installed it yet. I’m told you can wire the camera to you radio instead of your battery. Still the camera acts a witness and security just in case of an accident or another event.The problem is if someone breaks into your car takes your items and the camera, you have lost your video witness. That is why a camera with WiFi is important.

Its a great Dash Cam. What really drew me in to this cam over the others was the option to also record inside the cab while also recording outside simultaneously. This camera has EXCELLENT video quality. I would not hesitate to buy another if I needed on for another vehicle. Recorded video loops when the SD card becomes full.

I found out the 'parking protection' features don't work right when someone hit my parked car but this thing didn't record it. I also found out it will overwrite your supposedly locked files. So I lost what little evidence I did have.

Have had many cameras, and this is one of the worse ones. Not sure if this one was defective, but just a couple of weeks after it was installed, I was rear ended. Then we check the footage to see that nothing had been recorded. We try again to reset it and see if it had been a glitch, but no it never worked!
