Whatever it is, it's has little to do with Sukiyaki
Although it's best to make the sauce yourself, some brands of ready-to-use ones are quite good, actually.Not this one.In general Kikkoman's quality is not exiting but quite reasonable. This one is an overpriced poor imitation of Sukiyaki sauce.

This is just a sugary stir fry sauce and for that use is ok.Best to go to a Japanese store to buy Sukiyaki sauce or make it yourself as for some reason it appears really expensive when bought on the web or bears no relation to it at all which is the category this sauce comes in. Expect to pay ÂŁ6 to ÂŁ7 max for the real thing 330ml.

Gewohnt Kikkoman QualitĂ€t. Diese Sauce verwende ich hauptsĂ€chlich fĂŒr Acht SchĂ€tze oder Rindfleisch mit Zwiebeln und Ă€hnlichen Gerichten. DafĂŒr ist sie einfach richtig gut.
