High quality sight set...
Almost all pistols I use for competitions have Dawson Precision sights and they have been great. Apart from some serious competition pistols that I own, I also own some Glocks because they are low maintenance and they are fun to take them out to informal competitions some times. I installed a Vortex Venom RMR on my Glock 34 MOS for quite some time now and I had the rear and front factory sights completely removed because they were pointless. Recently, I wanted to improve my first shot time for plate shoot and I figured adding these Co-Witness sights to my Glock would help guide me to align the pistol with the target and get the red dot in the window faster. If you are shooting with a red dot on a pistol, you know that a major problem is to be able to acquire the dot itself when you first raise the pistol and even though we all get better with repetition, there are always those times that we raise the pistol and we are moving it left/right up/down looking for the dot. So when the dot is not there, these co-witness sights are a great "compass" to help find it quickly.Although I have not used this pistol for plate shoot yet, I took it to a Practical/Defense event a few days ago and I am very happy with how these sights allow me to quickly align the pistol with the target and acquire the dot faster. My RMR is sighted at 25 yards and these sights are perfectly on the point of impact at 15 yards so if I aim at a target at 15 yards, the dot is right on top of the front sight dot. I did have to use a file for the rear sight as most Dawson Precision rear sights are a bit over-sized to ensure that they will fit tight with just a bit of filing. There are videos that show how to install them and although they come with a punch tool, I suggest a rear sight tool that would push them in place so you can precisely adjust for windage. These also come with a front sight nut driver that is very helpful if you do not have one. Now, a great feature is that these are night sights and the tritium glows brighter on the front sight than the rear which is exactly how it should be to help you understand what you looking at in very low light situations. For me, I did not need the night sights on my Glock 34 (I have them on the Glock 43 and Sig P226) but they look great and it is a plus to have them.In conclusion, I just wanted to say by experience that all Dawson Precision sights are high quality and they are not kidding about the word "precision". They also offer a perfect point of impact guarantee when you buy sets of front and rear like this one. If you need co-witness sights for your Glock, buy these ones. You will be happy with them.

I bought a set of fixed night sights for my Walther PPQ. After three days of carrying (fairly gently) there was a huge gash in the sight which also knocked the tritium out. I wrote Dawson and they only offered me a 20% discount. To test my theory, I took a corkscrew and flicked my wrist at the sight and sure enough it dented and dinged it. These sights are VERY soft. I wouldn’t suggest using them. Go with tried and true Trijicons. I’ll never buy another Dawson product again.
