Kids' Travel Guide - Germany: The fun way to discover Germany - especially for kids

This book was given to a family needing to travel to Germany for cancer treatment not available for children in the US. This book was a great way to interest the three kids in Germany and gave them more to do on the long flight. Great content!

We are planning a trip soon that will take our grandchildren to Germany. This book is laid out very nicely by including activities and reading that they can do before they leave, even suggestions for what to pack. It provides short cultural and historical notes, games and activities that will prepare them for the land that they will visit, and then includes several journal pages for them to record their own memories and impressions. It might not interest the six-year old very much, but our 10 year old granddaughter is an avid reader and is eager to learn all about the country she will visit. It seems to be geared perfectly for her.

The books we bought kept our granddaughters busy, interested, and learning throughout a recent trip to Europe.. Info well presented…

What a great way to introduce Germany to my 11 year-old son!We plan to go there next month for the first time and we looked for a nice book to get him more familiar with the country and ready for the oversea journey. This book is perfect for him! He loved it, we plan to order the hard-copy book too, so he could do the activities while we are there, and he could definitely use the kindle edition when the book is not around.My son loved most the parts where they teach a few words in German and about German food.The little character is also cute, and makes the book even friendlier.

This is our third book we have from this great colorful series. The whole family like it very much. The kids learn alot even if we don't go there. It gives a bit of everything, just what the kids need. And every 2-3 pages there is a task or quiz that kids enjoy to do. Those tasks are a great way to memorize and internalize what they learned. We, the parents learn from this beuatiful book too!

Another fantastically written book from the Flying Kids Travel Guide Series. We are not planning to visit very soon but we downloaded the book as it is perfect for kids to gain general knowledge about Germany. In that sense we recommend all FlyingKids travel guides.
