This product arrived very quickly and in a good sturdy box. It has a super long lead (approx. 2.5m) which is always a bonus with hairdressing equipment.The wand itself has a built in stand, is a good weight and very comfortable to handle. It has an automatic safety cut out and will turn itself off if not used for 30 mins.When switching on it's advisable to hold the button down for a minimum of 3 seconds until light comes on and it starts heating. It heats up very quickly and has a good range of changeable temperatures.My hair is very short at the moment and is not long enough to curl but I have tried it on my daughters long hair and it worked brilliantly. Her curls lasted longer that those she has when using her usual curling tongs. I think for now I have lost my wand...at least until my hair grows!In my honest opinion I'd say I was very impressed by the wand and it's price.Great value for money.

Having naturally straight hair, curling my hair can be an absolute nightmare as it drops out quickly after being done. I bought this product to try before a wedding and my hair didn't drop out and on the wedding day my hair looked lovely (if I say so myself). The product was easy to use, has a long reach cable and comes with two clips. The temperature is also easy to change. I would recommend this product, although I have no experience to compare it to another product.

I bought these to curl my hair for a wedding evening reception. I don't usually style my hair, so needed that was easy to use with good results. The tongs have different heat settings, with a digital display so you can easily see the temperature. There is a clip to hold the end of your hair in place, which I found useful. I ended up curling the bottom of my hair, then the top as my hair is pretty long. I was pleased with the results, and have used it since for a few nights out, and again had consistently good results. All in all I'm very happy with these curling tongs, especially for the price.

These ceramic curlers came extremely well packaged and include the curlers and two hair grips. You need to press the on switch for a couple of seconds to power up and then press the buttons on either side to set the temperature. They heat up very quickly and I set them to 160.You use them just like old fashioned hair tongs twisting the hair around the tong and I hold for 10 -15 seconds before releasing. I have naturally wavy hair which is prone to frizzing. The curlers help put the curl back into my hair.I am delighted with these tongs as they are so easy to use. They have a nice long cable and they come with a built in stand to rest when not using. You have to press the on/off switch for a couple of seconds to turn off and they cool down quite quickly . The grips help separate sections of hair to make it easier to use the curler. I am happy to recommend these curlers. This is my own honest impartial review.

1. Doesn't work at all (only handle a bit warm)2. It is almost impossible to say if the item is switched on - display shows nothing after you connect the plug and hit [On] button3. Stand bracket (under the rod) is useless - it is so loose, than it folds under the weight of the item.4. If I shake the item I can hear some loose parts are moving inside (like a sound of sand)

I found this too difficult to use. I couldn’t get used to it at all. I literally used it for 1 attempt (5 mins) and gave up. I’ve given 3 stars because I’m sure it’s great for someone with the dexterity to perform miracles with their wand, but it’s not for me. I prefer a good old fashioned curling tong.

Excellent product, easy to use, curls stayed in place all night with only a small amount of hair spray..I wanted to score it 4 and a half really but couldn't figure out how to do that, the reason for the half rather than the full five stars is that if there is a draw back at all it is maybe slightly hotter than it has to be and I did feel the need to deep condition my hair the next day but that was a minor fault considering how well it had worked .

I chose this curler after reading it's excellent reviews. I have shoulder length hair, read all the instructions and have used similar products before. I ended up with burned fingers and a pile of fuzz on top of my head! There is nothing to clamp the hair in place while you turn the wand. and impossible to keep fingers away from the hot barrel (which does indeed heat up very quickly. Ended up with kinks and fuzz when I was looking for tousled, beach hair. Would probably work well on long hair if you wear oven gloves and are ambidextrous. Disappointed, straight haired person :(
