The Cosmic Tarot book

This deck was on offer so I went ahead and got it. It's a nice little deck with good quality card. The images have a dark feel to them - good for shadow work. Some of the pictures of people look like film stars (not sure if that's intentional) but give lots of detail you could work with in a reading. I've found this deck to be really powerful in readings I've used it for so it's a keeper.

I bought this book to go along with my cosmic tarot deck. As I really wanted a more deeper meaning of the descriptions of the cards. This book will open your eyes to that. As well as the authors point of view for the card. It certainly was an eye opener. At times it was quite political, but I didn't mind that. A really good read and I would certainly recommend it to those who want a deeper understanding of the way the cosmic tarot deck work's. This deck will give you accurate readings and won't hold back on telling you what you might not want to hear.

A good book to go with the cosmic tarot as although the deck follows the rider Waite system this book helps you go that bit deeper into it Iam still studying this deck and still have a lot to learn from it but you can pick out a lot more detail with the help of this author.Its easy to follow and I would say you could do pretty good readings within a few flicks of the pages. A good book to add to any tarot enthusiasts collection or if this is your only book and deck its a great place to start you on your tarot journey

The Imagery and colours of these cards are brilliant, many with focus on one main personality or objects. Their main meanings are same as the universal tarot but with additional image they provide more expansive meanings too. Making me want to research and increase my understanding.The card quality is great and do not slip even though they are brand new. My only gripe is the booklet could be abit more decriptive but I understand there is a companion guidebook that can be purchased seperately too. Hmmmm.

If you want an honest, no frills answer to your worries and concerns then this is the deck for you. I've only had it a week but boy, does this deck give it to you straight! In a good way though. I've actually been quite shocked to how accurate they have been. I mean, some of what i read was not what i 'wanted' to hear but i'm glad i DID read them because they warned me about a total -beep- storm that was heading my way. And it's come (and hopefully gone now) so I only suggest you get this deck if you want the 100% truth. The deck itself is beautiful, very dreamy and emotive with the pictures. I couldn't praise this deck higher. If you feel drawn to it, you will not regret buying them at all!

I'm fairly new to Tarot as I've been used to Oracle and Angel cards, but felt I needed a step up from what I know. I've looked online and in local shops to see exactly what would resonate and these cards do just that. The images on the cards are full of symbolism and they are beautiful to use and to carry out readings. They're the type of Tarot deck that can be used in all situations which is nice as it means not having to carry lots of packs with me at any one time.

This is a beautiful Tarot deck,very easy to read with meaningful images and a fully illustrated minor arcana.There seems to be some confusion with the reviews,as some say it is the book but having just purchased this myself,it is just the Tarot deck that you get and a small LWB with key words and a few spreads in it,not a actual book.

This is a wonderful tarot deck. The artwork is very evocative, lending it easily to interpretation. The artist’s style and skill are exceptional (the artist is Norbert Loesche). He employs crosshatching, which makes the cards look almost like tinted engravings. The images are an interesting combination of references to 80s pop culture, 1930s-50s cinema, ballet, Indian/Hindu symbolism, Middle Eastern imagery, and something more timeless that it’s hard to pigeonhole—I’ll include a photo of one of my favorite cards that falls into the indefinable category, 0-The Fool. I’ve been using the deck now for 5 months, and was able to read it immediately with very minimal study. (I don’t even have a book for this specific deck and don’t think it’s necessary to get one.) That said, I have put quite a bit of time into learning more about the symbolism I’ve encountered in the deck, which deepens my experience. The deck is based on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’s interpretation of the Tarot. If you are interested in pursuing this, you can easily download a free copy of Book T from the internet—it appears to be in the public domain. Book T gives sketchy but concise info on each card of the Minor Arcana. I’ve been reading Tarot off and on for over 50 years and have a bunch of decks. This is now one of my favorites. My other top two decks are the Smith-Waite and the Crowley-Harris Thoth deck. Since the Thoth deck is also based on the Golden Dawn’s interpretation, if you read the Thoth deck you should easily be able to read this one. But even if you don’t—! I highly recommend it, beginners included. (I wish I’d had a copy of it when I was learning how to read.)As to one reviewer’s perception of racism, based on the image she encountered in XII-The Hanged Man—I believe that her outrage is misplaced. Yes, we should be outraged by racism. But no, this deck does not contain racist imagery, nor do I think the character depicted in that particular card is even supposed to be Black, as that reviewer believes. Unfortunately, their review is at the very top of Relevant Reviews, which undoubtedly negatively influences a lot of potential buyers. It actually made me feel sorry for the artist! Think about it: if you were hanging upside down, all the blood would rush to your head. No matter what your skin color, your face would be engorged with blood, darkening it. This is what I believe the artist was trying to capture. According to Barbara Walker, the Hanged Man depicts an ascetic practice from the Middle Ages called “baffling.” This card is traditionally a very spiritual card, which is why, in this deck, The Hanged Man’s hands are prayerfully poised in the Anjali or Namaste Mudra. Note also that in this particular deck, The Hanged Man is not bound in any way. In any deck, this card symbolises our deep surrender to a higher power during a profound moment of defeat and desperation, a surrender that opens us up to guidance from within and without. It does not symbolize or even hint at lynching, as the reviewer feared. That would indeed be horrible, if it were true. We should never fear this card for any reason. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful and spiritual deck.

Das Cosmic Tarot von Norbert Lösche in einer in Europa gedruckten Version, mehr braucht man dazu wohl nicht zu sagen. Wenn es in der Sammlung fehlt kaufen! Ich weiss gerade gar nicht, ob die Kartentitel deutsch oder englisch sind, das lässt sich aber rausfinden. Dies bezieht sich auf die Karten, die ich geliefert bekommen habe, bei solchen Klassikern muss man immer genau schauen, welche Version man bekommt, im Zweifelsfall den Verkäufer fragen oder über Amazon Leute, die es erst vor Kurzem bestellt haben.
