So easy to use I bought it for making Christmas items , garlands, table decorations etc ,

I was looking for a hot glue gun for a foam board crafting project I am working on - making foam board inserts for some of my board games. Since I am just starting out as a foam board crafter, I needed something inexpensive and simple that I could get started with. The Amdai seemed to be great value for money and had some decent reviews.I was drawn to the fact that that Amdai 20W Electric Glue Gun looked quite easy to use and came with quite a lot of glue sticks (50). I wasn't sure exactly how many glue sticks I would need for my project, but this seemed enough to cover my needs.I ordered the item through Amazon, and it was delivered quickly, well within the 3-5 days. The Amdai glue gun was very well packaged in a cardboard box roughly about the size of 3 DVD boxes stacked together. The gun, cord and plug were in a Ziploc bag and the glue sticks were in their own separate bag.The Amdai glue gun is very light but seems quite sturdy. There were no instructions, but I had been watching videos on You Tube on how to use glue guns so I could figure things out for myself quite easily. The glue stick went in easily and the gun heated up quickly. I used the glue gun to apply a thin line of hot glue along some foam board pieces before attaching them to each other. It worked perfectly. And the hot glue hardens quickly, forming a strong bond, much faster than regular white PVA glue. So you do have to be quick when positioning pieces of foam board. But as I said, the bonding is almost instantaneous and very strong. Which is what I was after.As the work on my project progressed, it was easy enough to slot a new glue stick into the glue gun when one was required. I was quite happy with how the glue was being delivered out of the nozzle at the front of the gun. It was in a nice, easy-flowing stream and I soon learnt how to end off a line of glue without too many sticky threads ending up everywhere.In summary, the Amdai 20W Electric Glue Gun did exactly what I was expecting of it and it certainly was value for money. I would have no problems recommending it to any aspiring crafter out there who wanted to try using hot glue on their foam board projects, but didn't want to break the bank doing so.

I took my time researching this item and was very happy when it arrived. Firstly, you can tell that great care and attention to detail has gone into packaging this item with the clear instructions neatly printed on the inside lid of the box. The glue gun has a small silver stand that clips onto the front of the gun to aid with making it stand when using it to glue something down. The glue sticks were neatly packaged in a resealable plastic bag.Although I have bought two different glue guns over the years, I have never ended up using either of them and opted instead to glue things down with regular glue or glue dots. I eventually got rid of the glue guns and that is why I ended up having to purchase another LOLI am making notebooks that require me to use this glue gun to stick down elastic to make a pencil holder hook on the notebook. After experimenting with it I am happy to say that I am very pleased and impressed that it does exactly what I wanted it to do. It is really easy to use, you can't really make a mistake or go wrong. The glue comes out with ease and dries quickly so I needed to work quickly. I could be that my house seems freezing cold today and that may be the reason it dried so fast as well as the fact that I only needed a little bit of glue to do the job.The glue stick was easy to put into the gun. It is odd using something that doesn't light up or indicate when it is getting hot. I just plugged it in and waited for 5 minutes and then used it. By just pulling the orange trigger the glue comes out.So far, I have only used it on paper and material but I am very keen to attach charms onto cardboard so after playing about with this for a few more weeks, I will add more information to the review.For now, I am very happy I made a decision to purchase this item and highly recommend it to everyone.I have added photographs for your convenience.

For what you pay for the gun, it is good value for money, and works well, as every glue gun should.It comes with 50 glue sticks, and packaged very well in a neat, tidy little box.However there are a few things that stop me from giving it a 5 star review.Firstly, there is very few instructions apart from a couple diagrams in the box it came in, and I spent forever trying to figure out where the stand fitted in, and how to place the glue sticks inside the gun. I.e All the way through, half way? Etc.I plugged the gun into the main socket I was using, however I found it didn't stretch far at all, so half the time I was using it an awkward angle.Once the gun had heated up, I attempted to use it, however as I was covering a large(ish) area, I found that by the time I had glued all that I had needed to, it had already dried up.Maybe that's a fault on my behalf, as it might be suited best for small projects and not large scale ones.After I had used a couple of glue sticks in the gun, I found it more efficient, and it worked a lot faster than what I began with, and it became easier to use in general.All in all, I'd say for what little you pay, it's a great gun with only a few setbacks here and there, and would recommend it to anyone with any upcoming crafts projects.
