Diabetes book
This book is brilliant, if like me you have diabetes and have to watch them carbs it's great for that. This book gives details of meals, snacks, bread, pasta, takeaways, sauces and more, each page gives you the calories, carbs, protein, fibre for each item it shows, if your calorie counting this is also great for that. It gives portion sizes and amounts. I now live by this book, can be added as a app, so you can check when your out and about.

Clear and concise.
What an amazing book! Used with a good set of kitchen scales, it is easy to work out your calories and food values. It's very reassuring to know my protein intake, being elderly. I can even refer to this book for my dog's nutritional needs, as she eats only human grade fresh food. Very easy to follow, and concise.I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to monitor their diets!

Comprehensive Reference with Caveats
The "Carb and Calorie Counter" book serves as a useful reference for individuals looking to manage their dietary intake more effectively. With its extensive food database and nutritional information, it offers valuable assistance in making informed choices about what to eat.One of the book's initial draws is the promise of a free 14-day trial of the accompanying app. However, it's disappointing to discover that this trial isn't as advertised, as accessing certain features within the app requires a subscription. This lack of transparency regarding the true nature of the trial can be frustrating for users expecting a genuine opportunity to explore the app's capabilities without additional costs.Furthermore, while the book provides valuable information, it faces stiff competition from numerous free or more reasonably priced apps offering similar functionality. Given the relatively high price point of the book, it's reasonable to expect more generous terms for accessing the linked app. Offering a complimentary subscription for at least six months would provide users with a more substantial incentive to invest in the book.Despite these drawbacks, the "Carb and Calorie Counter" book remains a useful tool for individuals seeking guidance on managing their nutritional intake. Its comprehensive food reference and nutritional data make it a valuable resource for those looking to make healthier choices. However, potential buyers should be aware of the limitations of the accompanying app trial and consider whether the book's benefits outweigh the associated costs.
