A great power bank with lots of flexibility on usage.
I purchased this power bank as I needed to run a BlackVue DR750S dash cam In parking mode for extended times. The BlackVue required a 12 V output and this power bank has the ability to do this and with a very simple cigarette adapter plug I was able to plug the dash cam into this to enable my parking mode.BlackVue do offer several battery type power banks which do get recharged as you drive and will switch on automatically after the dash cam senses you are in parking modeHowever the wrong times are quite short with the latest being around about 26 hours and for three times the price whereas I’m getting well over 60 hours depending on use. However the run times are quite short with the latest being around about 26 hours and for three times the price whereas I’m getting well over 60 hours depending on use. The power bank is charged via a mains adapter which is supplied and it does take a long time roughly 6 to 7 hours but that’s due to the capacity and the charging level of the product. It is supplied with various adapters for different laptops and there is a basic 4 light LED to tell you the rough capacity of the battery which is left. It’s also worth noting that the company selling this product contacted me to ensure that its use would be useful for me and that it came with the right adapters and after I ran through my set up including the cigarette adapter they confirmed it should be fine. One little tip here is if you do plan to use it on a 12 V dash cam or any dash cam It’s worth checking the milliamps that the camp all is as below 150ma which is the tolerance built-in to the power bank the unit turned off but as my dash cam runs at around 200 or 250ma depending on its settings it’s fine. It’s also worth mentioning that you get a nice case with the battery in case you wish to take it anywhere with you which also has a little storage zipped section. In all the product works very well, is well-made, has plenty of features i.e. USB outputs of 1 A and 2 A including a 20 V output along with the 12 V output. The 20 V output is rated at 5 A and the 12 V output is rated to 2.5 A and all ports are clearly marked so you can see what their designated output is .A word of warning though if you plan to use this in your vehicle you must treat the battery with respect and not use it in high temperatures, the cells are different to those offered by the manufacturer which can withstand higher and lower temperatures. In lower temperature I would expect a lower running time but that is the same throughout the battery world. So to sum up this is a fantastic power bank for my needs and is quite sizeable compare to my other power banks and I have to say it was nice to see customer services contacted me prior to the dispatch of the item to ensure it would meet my needs.

Very Powerful Power Bank!
I have had this for around a week now and have been testing extensively with my Dell Latitude E7270, the power bank is powerful enough to power the laptop as well as charge the battery and seems to last a long time. I was using this yesterday and managed to charge the laptop from 8% battery to full as well as power the machine while in use for around 4 hours, the power bank is still showing two lights so has plenty of charge remaining and the laptop will likely last for for 4-5 hours extra on the battery power it replenished alone so my current estimate for extra battery life from the power bank is 12-15 hours!!! Obviously this will be dependent on what you are using the machine for and how much power it takes, mine was being used to watch an online video course so for multimedia purposes this is ideal. I can't comment on the long term reliability of the power bank yet however it has worked flawlessly so far and I will update this review if I do run into any problems in the future. I also own a Dell Power Companion power bank, this works well but has nowhere near the capacity of the Maxoak and is very expensive for the power boost it gives, this power bank is much better value for money and lasts a lot longer due to the much higher capacity battery. Overall I am very happy with the power bank so far and would highly recommend it based on first impressions.

Long battery life - excellent
I bought this product almost a year ago when I moved on to a boat and I have been extremely happy with it. I bought it because I wanted to be able to run my laptop in the evenings when access to a power source is virtually off-limits, especially in winter. The product is about the size of an average paperback and at 2kg is easy to transport around. It came neatly packaged and is well made. After I paid for it the seller went out of their way to make sure my laptop would be compatible.Whilst working from home over the last couple of days I have measured how many hours of life I get from the bank. My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad T440S with a faulty battery, so I run the laptop directly from the power bank and I got 15 hours of laptop usage before the bank needed to be recharged. I also charged my 4G wifi dongle a couple of times in that 15 hours. Most of those 15 hours were spent connecting to my office PC over VPN, so average usage. Recharging the device takes about 3-4 hours.Overall an excellent product and living off-grid without it wouldn't be possible for me.

Excellent battery pack!
50,000 mAh (milli-amp-hours, or 50 amp-hours or 185 watt-hours) of power make this battery pack an excellent traveling companion if you expect to be away from AC outlets for a period of time. As a storage battery this unit is excellent! I, however, bought it for a different purpose and it is just as excellent for that purpose, too! I bought a mini-PC (beelink) and a drawing tablet which includes a video screen (XP-Pen Artist Pro 13.3) which draws its power from the mini-PC's USB port if desired (the drawing screen can also run off an AC plug-in power supply). I want to be able to take this mini-PC and drawing screen out in the back yard or traveling, and need a portable power supply. This MaxOAK battery pack powers the combination perfectly and provides many hours of use before needing to be recharged. I have not yet done a total run-down of the MaxOAK with the mini-PC and drawing tablet plugged in to see how many total hours I'll be able to get out of it, but I have used the combination for over 3 hourse and LED "power-remaining" indicators only went down from 4 to 3 over those 3 hours, so I'm expecting to get a lot of usage out of it. Far more time than I get from my laptop's battery and part of why I decided to go the mini-PC route instead of using my laptop. One factor I love about this battery is that it will turn off if there is no power draw for more than 30-seconds. That means I can leave the mini-PC and drawing screen plugged in and as long as they are turned off, the MaxOAK will stay turned off without me needing to turn it off or unplug it (which was a problem with a different battery pack I had tried). When I'm ready to use it I press the MaxOAK's power switch and then press the mini-PC's power switch and everything starts up and stays on until I shut down the mini-PC, at which point 30 seconds after that the MaxOAK shuts off.One other excellent feature for my purposes that makes this superior to my other Krisdonia battery pack is that the MaxOAK has a dedicated 20V output jack as well as a dedicated 12V output jack in addition to USB ports. The Krisdonia required me to turn it on and readjust the output voltage every time I wanted to use it with my mini-PC, which was a bother. With the MaxOAK I can leave everything plugged in and simply turn on the MaxOAK and the mini-PC and things work just fine. The MaxOAK does NOT get hot either while using it to power other things or while it is plugged in and recharging.Like all these sorts of battery packs with huge capacities, it does take a long time to fully recharge the MaxOAK but that's a small enough price to pay for the ability to recharge other devices or to power my mini-PC and drawing tablet when not close to AC power outlets.

Great price for charging capacity
Used the maxoak K2 to keep my phone and laptop running while out in the bush working. The expected charges chart I saw was right in line with what I got. Excellent product just not as rugged as I would want but for the price nothing else it better. No problems during the month of usage. Charges quick for the capacity as well.

Stable output with consistent linear current-NO voltage drop at any point
I conducted a thorough suite of tests on this portable battery and compared it against several other units sold by different vendors. The results are as follows and summarized below:The MaxOak unit concluded benchmarking on 16 August 2019 and in summary, was the only portable battery to pass every benchmark test consistently over 8 cycles, while surpassing the competitors’ units on 4 parameters, over 8 complete cycles.Charging: First test was conducted with an initial break-in charge/discharge loop cycle whereby unit was fully discharged, then fully charged in 4 cycles. The break in cycles were independent of the tests conducted below and necessary to provide accurate post break-in calibration results on the power meter, and performance metrics (all battery systems undergo this).Charging rate via the included adapter was connected to an ammeter, capacity tester, and current/voltage monitor with alarms set for any deviations outside acceptable ranges. Every charge cycle produced consistent results with respect to voltage, current, capacity, heat production, and time. This process was conducted 8 times in a temperature-controlled environment, and conclusively proved a solid charging system with consistent results. No deviations outside normal operation were detected, indicating the power supply is well built, as is the quality of the internal cells.Cells: Internal cells in this unit are different than traditional battery bank systems, which likely are what account for it's above average performance. For background, many power banks utilize 18650 cylindrical Lithium Ion cells, such as some laptop batteries. etc. This unit uses Lithium Polymer cells however, which allow for greater density, energy-to-space ratio, capacity, and consistent higher power delivery. The cells provided consistent discharge performance across all cycles, and at each voltage setting. The settings tested were:1) 20 Volt2) 12 Volt3) USB 5V @ 2.1 amps (2 ports included)4) USB 5V @ 1 amp (2 ports included)Each discharge produced the same results each time, showing the solid build quality of the cells utilized.Discharge tests: All USB ports tested identically and at their values stated with no voltage sag. This is generally consistent among most brands. The MaxOak however stands apart with the 12 volt and 20-volt settings. Unlike other battery systems tested, both the 12 volt and 20 volt discharge tests stayed true to their current ratings, consistently over all cycles. Each length of time was similar, and capacity meters proved this as well. It is worth noting that many competitors tested begin to show signs of wear on stress-tests after just a few discharge cycles. This is the only unit which remained consistent in all parameters across all cycles and continues to do so with zero signs of wear.On a final note, while stress-testing the battery to its maximum current draw, it's worth noting that the current draw from the load even exceeded the ratings stated, and were consistent as well. There was no overheating, no fuses blown, and is good to know if ever your load may need a boost of extra current draw. This is likely attributed to the battery technology used, and MaxOak certainly did not cut any corners with this.Complaints/Cons: None. This is the first unit I have ever tested which I can find no flaws in. Time will tell as to the longevity of this unit, and if anything changes, I will amend to this review. However, given the cycles I put this through while stress testing the battery over multiple cycles, it doesn't appear there will be any problems at this point going forward. The warranty will cover you if so.Bottom line: If you are thinking of buying a portable power supply- don't even think twice. Get the Max Oak- you will be happy you did! This company clearly knows what they are doing- and it reflects in the quality of at least this battery.I was not paid for any of my opinions/reviews above- I conducted this test as a hobbyist with expertise in the area and was impressed enough that I felt I should share a review for anyone considering the purchase of a portable power system.

very good customer service
The power bank is really powerful. Customer service has been handsome from the beginning when I order and they send me an email to verify the compatibility /adapter with my laptop before shipping, and then when I received the power pack with an issue I had with the power button itself on the powerpack that was malfonctionning(but bypassable). they immediatly take care and send me an other unit that work flawlessly and do the job over my expectation. I would buy again and recommend it
