Good improvement on the previous gen Cloud Stinger Core. Definitely go with the cloth as it's more durable and quite comfortable. Only thing I somewhat dislike is HyperX going away from metal in the size adjustment. Just seems like a potential failure point though these seem pretty robust. Time will tell.

I picked these up shortly after my Logitech G432s gave out because of the hinges. I've had these for just over seven months now and haven't had any problems so far. I'm very careful with my headsets so there's almost no wear on them, if any. Granted, the lackluster build quality is noticeable, but what else did I expect from a $30 headset?These are half the price and doing just as good of a job as the G432. There's not much swivel but it definitely solves the issue of the hinges going bad, I never wore headsets around my neck anyway.Overall, these get the job done. The mic is ok, it's comfortable enough to use for long sessions, and I wouldn't expect these to last years. But regardless, this is one of the best gaming headsets you can get for the price. I would advise picking these up after one of your headsets breaks, if you don't want to spend a lot of money just yet. I will be upgrading soon but I'll always have these lying around just in case.

I have a very loved Hyper X headset already that has gotten me through the last couple of years but the adjustment bars started to loosen and doesn't hold anymore so I needed a new set. I was trying to be budget conscious but in hindsight I wish I would've just sprung for the higher priced set to replace my current set. The fabric on these are quite uncomfortable in my personal opinion and the sound quality just isn't there. They are no where near sound proof and I had to mess with a LOT of system settings just to come close to the sound quality I had with the other set. Overall, they were a cheaper set so I got what I paid for. I still love the brand and will continue to use HyperX in the future! I can't recommend the brand enough! I gave 4 stars because you get what you paid for, I only took away a star for the uncomfortable ear piece fabric and the let down in sound quality (even for the budget price it could be better).

Writing this review after owning these for a couple of months. I switched from using Astros a couple of years to these primarily because I got tired of how they hurt my head wearing them just 30 mins+ into a gaming session because of the Astro's weight. This headset completely mitigates that for me. It's so light and I appreciate that the ear cups are cloth instead of leather. It makes it more breathable and it will far outlast the leather in headsets.The simple function of putting the mic up to mute is just the cherry on top on this headset. Unbeatable value in my opinion.

For a HyperX headset I expected more quality in the microphone, it sounds too loud and the voice has like a distortion. It's good, but not as I expected.
