Q: How would you compare these to the Roland pitted olives?

I’ve had both. The Roland olives are extremely salty! They both taste good, but Roland is almost inedible because of the salt.

Q: why sunflower oil, this is why i did not buy

Sunflower oil is light and imparts a subtle flavor. Most importantly, when quality olive oil is refrigerated it becomes viscous. Sunflower oil does not do this.

Q: Are there Caper Berries in here? Please say yes I will buy stock in this company!

We made our own from olive oil, red wine etc. An internet recipe with my own innovations. But again, I don't think you need it if you refrigerate & consume within a reasonable time. I do recommend refrigeration. I had one repackaged container of these develop some small patches of mold whilewe were on an extended vacation. But that took 8 Wks. So usually - no worries - and they're so good, we continue to buy.
