I have this old tube TV in my room that I only really have to connect to my Sega Genesis haha. I used the antenna that did go with the TV's converter box with my regular HDTV in the living room, so I bought this one as a replacement. The TV is pretty far from the window, but it really doesn't matter where I put the antenna. I actually put it in a few different places to see what kind of reception it got, and there wasn't a difference. It's getting perfect picture all over the room. My other antenna doesn't do that. It's a bit finicky. I'd definitely recommend this product. It's cheap, and it gets the job done!

Works great. Small, lightweight, easy to mount, inexpensive. No amplifier, but I live within 2 miles of every HD antenna in the city so an amplifier was the last thing I needed. Installation is easy, just plug it in and find a place to hide it. Of course this means navigating a rats nest of cables inhabited by feral dust bunnies. But you can do it.If you have a home theater system and you are connecting this to your TV tuner, don't forget you will need to route the audio signal from the TV back to the home theater receiver. Usually this means you will need an optical cable.

I Had to move antenna several times to pick up station with antenna 30 miles away. Would not pick up station 48 mile from station antenna. It is ok for local stations, but not up to 50 miles as advertised.

It works well for us in the 2nd floor window facing the mountain where all the broadcast antennae are located with nothing but neighborhood trees blocking the line of sight. Small and unobtrusive but it picks up 36 channels including all the major and public broadcast networks. Not quite ready to ditch cable but this is the first step to that end.

Doesn't work even when placed on the window!! We did a check to see what range we needed and I don't know if I got a bad product or bad reading from the online app for distance to local channels. And when I went to return it I have to pay for shipping which is half the cost I spent on it. Not worth it!!

Bought this antenna because I have an unhealthy obsession with the show Big Brother. I had a dilemma because I didn’t want to pay for cable, however I needed to satisfy my need to watch the show Big Brother. So I bought this antenna and sure enough CBS came in crystal clear. I was able to watch Paul lose $500,000 two seasons in a row, and that gets a 5 star rating in itself. Now that Big Brother is over, I am also able to watch the football games with no cable bill and pure satisfaction. Really glad I bought this antenna.

since networks went digital, if cable goes out I've had $12 'rabbit ear' antenna on ledge above my flat screen for years. tho it worked great, I thought this would be an upgrade : longer cable to move toward windows, higher, etc. BUT I was V. disappointed! [used a link to local 'broadcast towers' map to figure best area to place this plastic sheet; but a few local channels always drop]only + : sticky-back tape stayed tacky thru the many times I tried to place it in 'sweet spot'

I bought two of these to give as christmas gifts and results were great! My son in law was worried about too many trees in the yard interfering with reception. When he got home and tried it I got a text from him indicating that he had more channels now than Hulu!! All free local stations and a few others! Great reception and very small and compact! Also got one for my son who did not want to pay for cable or any TV and it works great! This was a good purchase!
