use the correct tool for installing
First quality large wire contacts, I have seen for solar connectors. Used normal hydraulic crimp-er for crimping lugs on wires. Worked perfect every time. What a pleasure to use. Nice to be able to take the connector apart after assembling and reuse, if needed. Remember 8 awg connector will not work with 10 awg connectors, just make a ad adapter cable, that will work.

These solar connectors are high quality. They have quality seals and crimp connectors are not of high gauge low quality either. I'm highly impressed by all Bouge RV ITEMS FOR SOLAR. Plus they were delivered in one day. You could not ask for more.

A Higher Grade MC4 Connector Kit Than Most
Definitely worth the higher price to go with BougeRV MC4 products. We’ve purchased some cheap garbage on Amazon several times and the MC4 connectors are NOT all made the same way. Many are non-standard and are not made to specifications. The connector tools do no fit properly and the connectors are too big or too small when you go with a low grade cheap brand.These BougeRV MC4 connectors are great. Don’t waste your time thinking about it — these will save you time in the long run. Well worth the price.

Finally a quality mc4 connector and ends
These so far as the best I have found on Amazon.Why? They come in nice packaging and seperated into connectors vs the internal cable ends. This company provides/gives you extra metal connectors as they suspect mistakes or bad crimps happen. This is awesome because nothing is more frustrating to have a crimp getting ruined and you have more plastic than metal.The size and fit are perfect and much less connection problems compared to other non name brands in this same price range.This is the first time I haven't experienced woes with connectors. All of the connectors and metal pieces are uniform, can tell have been through some qc and just work. Others I have experience about 20% dead loss due to bad QC.I've almost used this whole pack making cables and I will be ordering more.
