O'Neill Men's Hyperfreak 2mm Chest Zip Longsleeve Spring Wetsuit

Suit is thin but warm all the way down to 70F for long swims. Light weight , typical high quality O’Neill wetsuit. Material is very stretchy, and very soft and comfortable. Large was a perfect fit for me. 5’9” 155 lbs.

Very high quality! Easy on and off because it’s so stretchy and soft. Water never really gets inside. Super warm. I’m 5’9” 155 pounds and Small fits well because of stretching. I also purchased the same suit in full because this was so nice.

This is an excellent well designed wetsuit in my opinion. I would’ve given it five stars but the O’Niell size chart is way off. I am 5‘8“ and weigh 145 pounds, and according to the size chart a small should fit me but it does not. I ordered a M and even though I can get into it, it is very tight. Otherwise this is a very good product. It is well constructed and the material is soft and subtle. I recommend ordering at least one or two sizes bigger than the size chart indicates.

This looks like a ribbed surface, similar to the thicker hyperfreak models, but it appears to just be a flat fabric skin or maybe even a print, as you can see in the close up, and feels like regular neoprene. Certainly more flexible than some dive wetsuits but nothing close to the stretch and flex of something like a triathlon wetsuit, which is what I was looking for.

It's a super nice suit! I really liked the color and quality. But it was pretty tight. According to the sizing chart a medium should have fit but it was too short in the crotch and very tight across the chest.
