Best Bang for your Buck
I'm currently deployed in Iraq and wanted to order a cheap chess set to place on my desk and play against random soldiers that wanted to take a quick break or even allow myself something to break up the monotony. By far, the best purchase I've made during this deployment. I've played well over a hundred games in three months and the chess board and pieces have been holding up extremely well with all the dust and dirt around. I was pleasantly surprised that the pieces are magnetized and hold to the board nicely when the entire thing has to be moved. I've held the board upside down and the pieces held on strong! For the price, the product has been excellent. I love chess and I'm glad this I bought this set.

Good quality!
I bought this for my 7yr old for Christmas and she is thrilled. I was pleasantly surprised myself once we started playing with it. The board is solid and stores the pieces nicely. The pieces have a slight weight to them, probably the magnet, but it gives the whole thing a feel of quality. Especially for the price. A welcome addition to our game collection.

Nice chess set!
Very nicely made! Purchased it for an 8 year old. Nice size for traveling or taking to a friend's house! Magnetic board and metal pieces. Outside frame is plastic, but well made.

Pretty, kids loved it!
This chess set is a very good quality for the cost. Love the attractive gold and silver playing pieces and the magnetic feature to help keep the pieces in place. The size is just big enough too, folds to store the army inside. Received product as advertised!

Nice product.
Purchased for the grandchildren; however, we all enjoy the chess set. The parts are solid and storage within the board, fantastic.

Very small a little difficult at first do to size.
You get what you pay for it’s not all that sturdy but it works. A corner was chipped off and the box wasn’t damaged so that sucked but it’s still good for on the go.

Really pretty
I loved the chess set. Good size, I love the pieces and the fact that is magnetic. One problem it was kind of hard to open and it pinched me a couple times but I figured out how to open it without it pinching me. Overall I really really liked it!
