waxing is painful..
Okay, let's be honest, waxing is painful...you're snatching out hair by the roots. It's going to hurt. Waxing your own pubic hair is really going to hurt, but the results with this wax are worth it! I have tried other waxes ( WOWAX Brazilian Wax, Stripless Hard Wax Hair Removal Wax for Whole Body and Sensitive Skin, 14 oz , and the hard wax beads that came withmy Yeelen wax warmer.... Yeelen Hair Removal Hot Wax Warmer Waxing Kit Wax Melts + 4 Flavors Hard Wax Beans + 10 Wax Applicator Sticks ), and this Full Body Spa Wax For Thick to Coarse Hairs - All Natural - Professional Size 14 oz. Tin is the best. Here are few tips, in case you are not a professional, to make things go a little easier:1. Watch a few videos on technique. It seems easy in theory, but application is where people get frustrated, give up, and write poor product reviews.2. Heat the wax to the proper temperature. I heated my wax in my Yeelen warmer at 210*F. It was not "stringy" as I read in some reviews. If the wax is not hot enough, it will be stringy and frustrating to use. That was the perfect temperature for me. No strings, just smooth consistency.3. Make sure your hair is not too long. Actually look at a ruler to see how long 1/4 inch is in real life. Don't guess. If the hair is too long, it is even more painful and difficult to remove. I learned that the painful way. If doing pubic hair, trim it up to the correct length.4. Pay attention to the direction of hair growth. The wax has to be applied in the direction of hair growth. Very important, unless you enjoy pain. I also tried this wax both with and without applying powder first, just to see if there was a difference. It worked well either way.5. Pull off the non-woven strip in the direction against hair growth, parallel to the body part. This is super important. Otherwise, you will not have effective removal and it'll be more painful. Pulling parallel can be tricky at first, as it is an unnatural movement. Pulling up is more natural, but definitely the wrong technique! Whew! Talk about unpleasant when not pulling parallel! It helps greatly to stabilize the skin at the end of the strip from which you will start pulling, that way you're not battling moving skin while trying to pull off the strip. A nice breath in and then exhaling while pulling gets you through the really sensitive areas. I used Tifara Beauty Non-woven Hair Removal Waxing Strips 100 Count - Facial and Body Hair Removing Epilating Strips for Home Spa and Beauty Salon Treatment ...they're great and I'll be ordering more.6. Some reviews for this product complained about cleaning up the skin afterwards. I used a clean strip to pick up leftover wax bits and the applied my generic body oil as a final touch. Even when I leave my favorite waxing salon, I occasionally feel "tacky" and have a bit or two of leftover wax. So, any cleaning up issues aren't a deal breaker for me.7. Finally, allow plenty of uninterrupted time!!! Don't expect to wax real quick at 6:15 pm for a hot date at 7:00 pm. Self-waxing is a learning process. Unless you wax the bodies of others for a living, in which case you probably wouldn't be reading my review, take your time. I wait until I'm home alone...just me, my wax, and a my favorite snacks. It took some painful and messy experiences to learn that waxing is an art. I have a much greater appreciation for the ladies at the salon! This is a fabulous product and works very well. I'll be using this wax from now on. I plan to practice more on my daughter in a couple of weeks...lucky her!!! If she lets me take pictures or a video, I'll update my review.

Great Wax for Coarse/Hard hair messy but you will not regret it
I have hirsuitism - which means hair grows dark, thick almost everywhere on my body. After looking for many solutions and experimenting with salons and spending $1000s (not kidding at all), I have found a solution that works for me: grape seed oil + this wax. A lot of you talking about how you drew blood, listen up - maybe, you’re waxing wrong. Slather yourself in oil (counter intuitive but trust the process) spread a thin (this is important) wax layer over your slick skin, gently pat the waxing strip and pull in the opposite direction. Not only does this method help with pain, as the wax is sticking to the hair and not skin, you’re using the wax for what it is meant for, pulling out hard hair from the root. I’ve purchased this 6 times in 1.5 years and have then written this review. My big lessons: never use this wax on dry skin, never use a thick layer of this wax, always spread down a sheet or a plastic sheet wherever you are waxing because this is messy and tough to remove. My only complaint is that I wish this came in a larger size. It takes me 2 boxes at least to wax my whole body. Cheers!

Not worth it
The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because it works - technically.I could live with the insane stickiness - another reviewer described it as super glue and before buying I thought that was an exaggeration but nope, they're 100% correct - IF the wax removed all the hair. But it doesn't. This isn't at all superior to any other wax. Instead, it's just a HUGE pain to use and clean up. I did everything right - made sure the wax was hot enough and had a honey consistency, used powder to prevent it from adhering to my skin, applied the wax in the thinnest layer possible in the direction of hair growth, pulled in the opposite direction. I used good non-woven waxing strips and went over areas again when it didn't get all the hairs out in the first try. And there are STILL hairs left over that I can feel just by running my hands over my legs. But the biggest pain was cleanup. It's probably easier not to make a mess if you're waxing someone else but I was doing my own legs so I got some wax on my legs, hands and the floor. Impossible to remove. This company's own cleansing oil works as well as regular vegetable oil, which is to say not that well, because it takes hours of literal scrubbing to get the wax to come off and oil just makes it slightly easier. It's just not worth all this hassle. Not to mention that it costs $24 for a 14 oz tin which I can use to wax my legs (below the knee) only twice.

I highly recommend BODYHONEE spa wax and BODYHONEE non woven hair removal waxing strips.
First of all, I am not a waxing professional but I do my own Brazilian waxing at home at times. I used Veet wax strips and while it did the job, it’s just not same as going to a spa. I have been thinking about buying a wax kit – and when I finally did, I bought and used the following:Makartt Hair Removal Machine Hard Hot Wax Warmer Melter Heater Electric Depilatory Waxing 14 ozNon-woven Hair Removal Waxing Strips, 100 Pack (3"x9")Full Body Spa Wax For Thick to Coarse Hairs - All Natural - Professional Size 14 oz. TinI also used popsicle sticks that I already have that I got from Dollar Store. These are great because they are smooth so no splinters.I used the wax yesterday as soon as I got it, warmed it for 30 minutes at 110deg. The wax melted quickly but it was stringy, so I decided to melt it for another 15mins – then it was perfect. I did not do any skin prep but I did a couple of strip test and it wasn’t painful at all so I decided to do it on the spot. Although it takes longer, I suggest that you wax little by little. All you need is a small amount of wax because this thing is GOOD!!!I highly recommend BODYHONEE spa wax and BODYHONEE non woven hair removal waxing strips. I think they work well together. I won’t even experiment and get a different brand of wax or strips next time. For what I paid for the wax, warmer and strips I already got my monies worth. A single trip to get a Brazilian waxing is about $65+tip VS the $40 for the whole kit that I bought.I am happy!!

Great wax. Will buy again for legs and bikini.
Get this wax up to temp and it works great. I've used for legs and bikini and it removes hair well, without pulling at the skin. Much better than other brands I've tried from on here. Will buy again.

Very messy. the wax is excessively sticky and messy and fails to adhere to all the hairs
Really messy wax. This may be good for the skin but my wife had to apply it numerous time on the same area to achieve the desired results. Not recommended
