This was purchased for my wife who just underwent Hip replacement surgery. The physical therapists recommended a raised toilet seat and this seemed to fit the description of what was needed. IT DID!!It was very simple to put together; no special tools. Right out of the box, it took me 10 minutes. It fits our area perfectly and we have a small bathroom. It is comfortable and comes with bed pans if that is necessary.

I bought this commode for my mother who is elderly. She was using an old one that seemed a bit flimsy. I am very pleased with it. It was very easy to put together. Also the frame is much sturdier than the old one. My mother loves it. At first I was disappointed when I saw the seat wasn't that soft but my mother says it is very comfortable. The old one had a hard seat. Then I realized the seat can't be too soft because it wouldn't provide enough support. It is also wider than I expected. I highly recommend it.

Not wide enough for person with whole leg brace and cannot return after opened even though you can return if purchased from different vender. Slow shipping also.

I ordered this setup for a neighbor who was going to be released from the hospital after surgery. It was easy to put together and seems to be working out well.

Seat needs to be bigger for my 185 lb. husband. Does not line up well for him and makes fora lot of clean up from the misses. height adjustment is great. wish there was a larger seatreplacement.

My wife underwent a total hip replacement and needed a raised seat. In checking things out, this appeared to be of the best design as it had arm rests and legs for stability rather than just being an elevated seat that merely sits on top of the bowl. Shipping was fast. Assembly was fairly simple with clear instructions provided. No tools were needed. All parts snapped together with spring loaded pins that locked into holes in the legs for height adjustment. The quality of construction was very good. The chair is very light and easy to move. It was easy to adjust and seems very stable and sturdy, with little risk of tilt or collapse. The cost is quite reasonable in my opinion for the quality of the device. I highly recommend.

Solid. Practical. Just what I needed after having tried a raised toilet seat. I placed it it over the toilet and will leave it there for as long as I need it.I found that it fit much better with the toilet seat removed completely. I'll just put it back when I no longer need the commode.

It's made a world of difference! You just don't think about these things when you're young, but when time "catches" up with you and your knees begin to ache...then you think about things that make life easier. And this product makes a BIG difference. I understand how people find it difficult to talk about certain things, but when you get older, you learn quickly that it's something that may happen to all of us. We all get old. We all need "help" at times. And this raised toilet seat has really helped with my "daily constitutional"...well, I can't think of a better way to say it. It's much "easier" to sit down and get up, now! Thank you so much for the "uplifting" experience I get by using this seat! LOL
