Bought this in conjunction with 'replacement shoe sole treads' to repair the bottoms of my worn athletic shoes. Amazon suggested this as the best glue to use, to attach replacement soles to the bottom of my old shoes. You do have to let the glue sit for 24 hours (preferably weighted down) and touch-ups to missed unglued sections, after initial application, will be necessary. After all this gluing...so far, it seems to be holding pretty well. I don't know if this glue is strong enough for repairs for athletic shoes used for intense sports activities, but for me doing just light walking, it seems to work pretty well.

The sole of one shoe (waterproof, closed toe sandals with a heel strap) separated during an overseas trip and I ended up using duct tape for the rest of the trip. I found out the other shoe was beginning to separate also. When I got home, I ordered this shoe glue. I used it to repair both soles and it's held up very well. It's a strong bond.

I didn't like the fact that I asked for: The name brand glue 'Shoe Fix' glue! I returned this glue and didn't ask for it back but yet you send me this glue that I don't want more did I use!!!! Not cool! From the reviews... This glue isn't worth the trouble! Thanks to Amazon, I'll never buy or recommend this product!
