I bought these for my two Goldens who make it almost impossible to walk them together with their constant pulling. I measure them both prior to purchasing, but I felt like they run a bit small. I am returning for a larger size for their comfort. That being said, they seem to do exactly what they are supposed to. It took them a bit to get used to having something on their faces, but they didn't pull and stayed right beside me. Win overall!

EDIT:So now that I have had it for 2 months, I am updating my review. So, it was great the first maybe 5 times I used it. After that we spent more than half the walk with him trying to get it off his face. We have been on maybe 40 total walks and today, he pulled a little harder than usual and just ripped it in half. Not so happy with it anymore.OLD POSTI can not rave about this harness enough! I have a 90 lb 2 year old lab/shepherd mix that I absolutely could not control while walking. He is stronger than me and comes up past my hips. He had no problem pulling me about no matter how hard I tried to control him. I was literally at my wits end and feeling like the absolute worst pet owner. After walking him, I usually couldn't feel my arms and had like no strength left.Then my coworker recommended this product and holy sh*t is this a game changer. After only a couple minutes of trying to get it off and being a little brat, he finally got distracted with the walking and it was amazing. I also bought a leash that had the hand loops on both ends so I can hold the handle close to his head. He walked at my heels almost the entire time, with a few times of me giving him more room to walk around. He walked right past many other dogs that he clearly wanted to play with and when he did try to go, he wouldn't get far. And my arms didn't hurt at all after the walk. I'd say 98% of our walk was smooth as could be and 2% was him trying to get it off his face. He really doesn't like anything touching his face, so I'm doubtful that it was hurting him, I just think he doesn't like the new feeling.Anyways, I literally can't recommend this enough, especially if you have a very large dog that is difficult to walk.

Overall it’s a well made head collar. The colors are very bright and vibrant. I love that it clips to his collar so even if he gets it off his face somehow he’s still going to be attached to his leash. The padding is a nice thickness and doesn’t rub on him and cause sore spots. It took a lot of adjusting from myself and his trainer but it still doesn’t fit quite like we want it to over his muzzle….he’s a boxer mix though so, arguably, there isn’t a lot of muzzle there to begin with which could be part of the problem.

This lead is super duty size/width/thickness/weight. Also the muzzle section doesn’t adjust in a permanent way which adds to the sizing issue. I have a 14lb cavapoo & it swallows her up in every way. The colors however are beautiful.

For some reason it kept slipping off my dog's nose. I threw it in the garbage. I bought a new one from the same seller but in red and this one does not slip off. Perhaps the first was just defective. I'm satisfied with this. First one was grey.

My dog likes pull till she choking and just keeps going this helps ALOT it stronger fabric doesn't rub her raw on her nose or behind her ears so that's good, it has great handling she pulls it drops her nose toward her chest so she stops pulling it helps also taking her in public she big people person this helps keep her from trying run at and jump on people keep her under control. She comfortable in it this was coldly was worth the money color is bright love rainbow coloring

It is good quality material. Other than that... If your dog has half a brain, it will figure out how to get this off very quickly. The collar hangs longer (in front of) than my standard poodle's snout even when adjusted, which bothered her, so then she'd flip her head and begin chewing on it. But, I kept at it. When I thought she was comfortable enough just wearing it, I wanted to try the leash hooked up. It was pure chaos! Absolute freak out, and no way at all to control it. Also, due to it being very long (yes I had adjusted it), it got in her mouth during the freak out so I was essentially pulling on her like a horse. Luckily I had her harness on as well. I tried another day, and even brought treats. Freaked out again. Then I thought to myself, exactly how would it feel to have someone tugging at something that was directly below my eyes and pushing on my nose? Pretty darn awful. So now I'm just working on simple methods to stop her from pulling, such as stopping while using voice commands and treats. After a few days, she's starting to understand.

I like the back-up clip this attached to the collar with since our other gentle lead has slipped off before. We've only just tried it out, but I will update if anything comes up. So far I'm very happy! Size chart was accurate! Our pittie mix was a size small.

I've had several head collars and for the price, this is the best I've had yet. The collar is made of sturdy nylon strapping with sturdy connections. I don't think you will find a better head collar for any amount. I've had head collars that cost over double the price of this one and wasn't any better quality if as good. The fit is perfect for my dog. I we dubious about ordering an XXL size for my dog but as stated the fit is perfect. Trust the size chart and don't compare to other manufacturers.

I love the colours and it is well made.
