Works Great at Saving Your Fingers
Before people start flaming that you just need to practice more and build up those calluses, let me say I've been a professional guitar player for over 40 years and have had more than my share of calluses, bloody fingers and skinned knuckles. The problem is, I'm on blood thinners and it makes my skin soft and prone to cuts and bruising. I was recording an album and couldn't complete it because my fingers were all sliced up from the strings. These protect your fingers and give you good traction to bend notes and slide on strings. My only criticism is a packaging one: It would be great if they would make four of a particular size, instead of one each in four sizes. Out of 16 I use 4 and 12 are in the package.

Allows me to play my acoustic with injured finger.
These work surprisingly well. I smashed my finger with a hammer months ago and I still can't play my acoustic unless I'm wearing one of these. I have to admit that I'm surprised how such a thin later of material stops the pain. My only wish is that I could just get the index finger size. I have no use for the rest.

Gets caught on strings
Theses are are great idea and they do actually protect the finger tips but I did find that opening on the nail tip would keep catching on the string above. I think a solid tip with no vent holes would be better

Very helpful
Just started learning guitar so I had been encountering blisters which are not acceptable if you are trying to fully immerse yourself at the beginning with a lot of prescribe. These really helped me. As 5'11" male in my twenties, the XS fit my pinky (with some squeeze), the M barely fits my index and ring fingers(a lot of squeeze), and the L fits my middle finger decently and thumb perfectly. I do not use the S sized protector at all. Therefore, for me, it would have been best if there was a size between the M and L, and no S size.

Sizes to small and barely protects
Hard to use and size barely fits adult fingers. Bought them for a Kalimba and it does not make it easier. I still also feel my thumbs wearing down, yes it protects but not enough.

Good quality and comfortable.
I found the fingertip protectors very comfortable and they fit well.

These are the same filing fingertips you can get at Staples
These are those filing fingertips that you can buy in office supply stores. I tried them because they had the word "guitar" and I had injured the tip of my pinky finger. You cannot slide these on the strings. Where you need the cushion and protection, there is an opening. These are simply fingertip guards for filing paper. Imagine a violin player trying to use these where the drag is almost 100%. You might be able to use them on the picking hand for a guitar with nylon strings. Definetly never on the fingering hand for anything. Don't let marketing capture your imagination.
