I used this for attending soccer games in 50 degree weather with cold metal bleachers and it covered my bum for insulation from the seat, plus it was big enough I could pull my knees up and tuck them inside as a warm cozy human ball!It is slalso so soft and cozy I love to wear it daily while I work from home or do other activities. For thag reason i suggest buying two because you will want a spare while it is in the laundey. The reasons this hoodie blanket is better than may others are 1) Giant pockets, top pocket easily holds a cut or small dog and behind that is a large hoodie style pocket so you can hold all your essentials 2) cuffs on the sleeves mean you can push up the baggy sleeves to use your arms or pull them way down to keep your hands inside and warm.
