Surprisingly durable
This head collar feels slick, as if it were made of weak material, but I’ve had this since July and, as of writing, there’s not a hint of damage or fraying. My dog is starting to love this head collar because she knows it means treats and outings. She will not pull in this, easy as that. I wish she could open her mouth a little wider in this, but she is closer to the max circumference of this size, so that’s to be expected that it wouldn’t fit perfectly. She can, however, eat, drink, lick her lips, etc. Great tool for focus training. I also honestly like that it has a bit of a muzzle look to it because it cuts down unwanted petting during training sessions.

MATERIAL BROKE AFTER BEING USED TWICE
The metal ring expanded and it caused the dog to get away. Metal rings were not soldered/welded. I have a Labrador about 80lbs and were able to break the material. Not recommended with larger dog.

Stops your dog from lunging toward other dogs
I have a 3-year-old Sharpei/Labrador, 56 pound dog. We’ve had him for a year and I bought a harness for him to take him on our daily 2-3 mile walk every morning. Whenever he sees other dogs, he lunges toward the other dogs. I’m 72 years old, 95 pounds, and it takes all my strength and two hands to hold him back. A couple of weeks ago, I lost my balance and fell while trying to hold him back. My arm and leg got scraped up. My daughter and a friend told me about this type of leader collar. I looked it up on Amazon and found the best reviews for this particular collar. I ordered it and the day after it came in the mail, I put it on our dog. He did paw at it a little bit but he wanted to go walking so he didn’t resist at all. He walked alongside me and when he passed other dogs, it took only one hand on the leash to hold him back. We’ve been using it every day since. He always looks up to the shelf where I put the collar when it’s time to go walking. It’s such a pleasure to go walking with him and so much easier to control him as we pass other dogs. I would highly recommend this collar to anyone looking for a collar for their dog.

It’s OK
The snout harnesses are the only thing that tame our large, very strong golden retriever from pulling on walks. This WORKS but it’s not the most comfortable for him. Beats getting pulled down the street from your dog, though.
