Waist runs tight.
Product is very light. Definitely not the same quality as an Izod product or a docker product. Experimenting with slim fit. Tried the 34-inch waist, too small. Had to go to a 36-inch waist. Other pants and a slim fit I'm a 34-inch waist.

I really like the fabric that is a bit stretchy. These aren’t that kind, but I still think they are good quality

Swing and a miss from J. Crew
I'm actually really disappointed in these pants. They crease so badly after sitting for just a few minutes. The fit is good and the sizing is correct, but the quality of the pants is not up to typical J. Crew standards.

Not chinos but still nice pants with a good taper. Should be tighter if actual chinos.

Good quality, nice fit
I wasn't sure what to expect from the Mercantile (factory) line from JCrew, but am quite pleased with the quality and fit of these pants. Nicer than the Banana Republic pair I have. Hopefully they will hold up well to frequent washing.
