DMZOK WiFi Camera, Wireless Security Camera, Nanny Cam, WiFi IP Camera (White2 720P)

*****UPDATE****It has been a month since purchasing this camera and I CANNOT get the motion sensor to work for anything. It does not record cause the sensor won't go off. I've read the instructions booklet and it should be working properly. I am changing this product to a 3 star because of this defect.Seriously love this in home security camera! I already had a camera being used as a nanny cam, I couldnt turn the lens in the direction I wanted though which I why I purchased this one. It moves at any angle and is amazing! Camera quality is nice and records well. I had a few problems getting it set up to get it connected to the my internet but after the second try it worked. The user Manuel is super friendly and easy to understand which is great. Only thing i wish I could change is that the power cord is to short. You have to have it connected to some sort of extension cord pretty much at all times to use it. Nevertheless, I would 100% recommend this camera!

I have had the camera for only two days. It has good functions, but the seller should provide better instructions both in the booklet and in the app (ismartviewpro). I placed it above the frame of a sliding door to my back porch with camera lens facing front entrance door--the sliding door to the front entrance is a straight line--so through the camera I have a clear view of the front entrance, foyer, stairs to the second floor, and the space beyond--closer to the camera--which an intruder would have to pass and thus trigger the motion detect. I inserted a SD card into the camera and it would record on the card when motion is detected. From my work place many miles away, I can pan and tilt the lens, adjust contrast, change resolution between 760p and 480p, take photos or video (they will be stored on my phone if taken under command by the phone), open microphone to listen or open speaker to talk to whomever near the camera, all by touching my cellphone screen. I check "app receives alarm" only when I am away and no one is home, and want to be alerted if motion detect is triggered (if "app receives alarm" stays checked, the phone beeps whenever anyone at home triggers the motion detect). I do not use Cloud, nor email alert--the camera is equipped to do those (you need to set up a yahoo email account though). Day light image quality is good, and night vision image quality is just acceptable for security purpose. Sometimes my phone's connection with camera or the camera's connection with wifi (I do not know which, as I am not a tech person) breaks, but will reconnect after I tap the app a couple of times.In short, the camera is quite capable and useful at a reasonable price, but some buyers did not get over the first hurdles to set it up because the seller failed to provide clearer instructions. For example, in the app, click "advanced settings'=>"alarm setting," there is "Input Armed" (you can check) below "Motion Detect Armed." I still do not know what it does, and I sent an email to the seller to ask what "Input" refers to here and did not get an answer. For the sake of its business and to do justice to this product, the seller should hire a native speaker of English to thoroughly revamp the instructions.Update, Jan. 12, 2018I learned from the seller that "Input" in "Input Armed" means whatever info you entered to set up email alert. I did not know that. I did not set up email alert, but checked "Input Armed" the other day just to see what it would do. What it did was to drain the cellphone battery and eat up mobile data the whole work day when I was away from home. I thought my phone was off (screen black) but it did not stop battery drain and mobile data use. That is one more reason I do not want to use email alert. I will keep "Input Armed" unchecked.Update, Jan.31, 2018It has turned out that even if I only set up to store video on SC card, and nothing else (no alert, no email, no other settings checked), the app would eat up my mobile data quickly (1G in five hours) while my cellphone was in standby mode (screen black), unless I turned off mobile data, which I would forget to do after using my phone to check traffic on the road. I guess the app is constantly operating without my knowledge because the camera is continuously recording, not just when there is motion detected, as some buyers also noted. Since I do not subscribe to unlimited mobile data, I cannot afford such a use of mobile data. I deleted the app (Ismartviewpro) from my cellphone. That is to say, I cannot see or control the camera from my cellphone anymore, and the camera has become much less useful. I have reduced my evaluation of the product to three stars. In short, if you do not subscribe to unlimited mobile data, this product is not for you. By the way, I use android phone and do not know whether I-phone is the same.

This is a really good security camera baby monitor. You download the app and connect it to your wi fi. The setup is very easy. Make sure to read the manual. The camera plugs in to your wall socket. You can speak in to the monitor and you can also hear what ever is going on in the room. I like that you can use this as a security camera. When you are away from your home, you can still keep a watch on your front door or where ever you place the camera. I am pleased with my purchase.

Good solid security camera. With an easy 2 minute setup/configuration and lots of features, handles you may need for monitoring a child or a pet. In my case the smartphone was an iPhone, the subject was our injured dog in a crate pen. The DMZOK camera does the monitoring job beautifully day and night. With the speaker/microphone functions you can even listen in or try to calm the dog with voice. The setup instructions are clear and simple to follow, the app is not over sophisticated but straightforward. In sum, I was surprised a bit that I did not struggle with the installation and was not exhausted after that, and that speaks volumes of this DMZOK camera.

This camera shouldn’t even be manufactured.It’s horrible.1. You can’t hear anything. The volume is so low even all the way in its barely audible. I can hear what’s going on upstairs better through two closed doors than on the speakers.2. You can’t see anything. Day time is pretty bad but at night you can’t see anythingNot only would I not recommend this POS I wish I could return it but I didn’t set it up in time and now I can’t. Seriously if the price is intriguing don’t buy it. In this case you don’t even get want you paid for.

I had to return the camera. Lots of problems with set up and after 3 days of talking to tech support, they finally agreed the camera should be returned.Basically, the camera had power but did not do the pan tilt test it was supposed to. Resetting the camera did nothing. I just had a defective device. The app was easy to navigate but look at the reviews for it to see how many problems this camera can have. In the end, not what I expected.

We have a Nest cam, but we wanted one we could control a little more and that we could transport easily if we need to. This camera fits the bill perfectly. It only took a few minutes to setup, and despite the reviews on the Apple Store for the app, it works perfectly.We also test the night vision on the camera and it actually looks better than our Nest, which we didn't expect. The camera is light, portable and moves 360 degrees so we can see pretty much everything in the room.For the price, this is a great buy.
