It is a good product to have when you kid is starting to walk. But it has some big minuses that need improvement even if the cots get higher. First is the breathability on the side that comes over the forehead. It is not ok, the kid sweets in minutes if its really warm. It should have small holes in it all over. The second minus is the thing that holds it under the chin. It is too long and not easy to fix the right length. No kid has a head that big so it doesn't need to be that long. Another minus is the 3 stripes that come over the head. They are seamed together in one spot. and because of this they do not sit correctly on the head. You have to pull the apart and readjust from time to time. They should be separately. And the Velcro from behind the head is wide enough but not long enough, and this has to do with the fact that the 3 stripes from above are not correctly together. Al of those make it a bit uncomfortable for the kid but when you need something like this than don't think twice. And because of the sweating I bought 2 because one needs to be washed every couple of days.
