Solid Field Watch
You can't go wrong with this watch. I picked it up on sale for $139.99. For that price, it's hard to complain about anything really... But I'll say the good and bad below. The fit and finish of the watch is great. The hands and numbers are big and very easy to read. The small dials also display very useful info and are well laid out. The watch is sharp looking and is just the right size. The SS bezel adds durability. The band - just go ahead and order a replacement ahead of time. Note that this watch takes a 20mm, not 19mm. The band looks kinda cool, but is too tacticool IMO. It's also a bit scratchy and is difficult to take on and off. For $20, the Barton Silicone bands are hard to beat. I went with smoke grey.My only other complaint are the glowing hands. Owning a Luminox in the past, I was hoping they'd be a bit brighter. They get the job done, but if the room isn't completely black, you'll have trouble seeing the hands glow. They also seem to glow brighter when the watch is fully charged from some sunlight. Not a deal breaker, but you're not going to grt Luminox brightness in the dark. All in all, great watch for the money. I'll update back if I have issues.

Great travel watch
I was looking for a travel watch -- one that is easy to change time zones and isn't so fancy that it might get stolen. ALSO since travel is intermittent, I wanted a watch where I did not have to worry about the battery dying on trip (or being dead when packing for trip). So the Eco-drive is great. When I am home and using my good watch I leave this eco-drive in a place where it gets enough light to keep running. And it stays very much accurately on time. The time is very easy to read BUT day-of-the-month is very small and hard for my old eyes to read. I wish the little 24 hour dial was a second time zone instead. The accuracy, style, ease of use and always charged status make this a great watch for travel (or just a handsome watch for every-day use).

Dorky and weird but I like it
This is a somewhat weird and dorky watch whose functionality is questionable. But I like the look. Military inspired, legible and utilitarian, with a rugged green nylon band. Some reservations. The crystal is flat and has too much reflectance if it catches the light the wrong way. The functions are a bit odd. It has a sweep second hand but is not a chronograph so you can't time an event. There are three sub dials which show the day of the week and the day of the month, but the latter needs to be reset for different months. (If you need your watch to tell you what day of the week it is, you may be in prison or lost in the woods.) There is a third sub-dial to show 24 hour time which seems pretty much superfluous as well, since all it does is add 12 to the main dial. If these three sub dials were eliminated, not much would be lost except the watch would look less cool. Finally, this is a solar watch which means it recharges in bright light and that is it's main feature. On the one hand, you never have to change a battery. On the third hand, it is restrictive where you store watch when you are not wearing it. You need to leave it in a window rather than in a drawer or it will run down. So it really works best if you wear it every day and work outdoors.Somehow I like this watch even though it is dorky and odd. It seems somehow Japanese, nerdy and out of touch, like that kid in high school who wears glasses, parts his hair in the middle, has no friends and wears army surplus jackets every day.

Easy to read, very practical and functional. The PVC Black coating makes it look great!
This is a gift, but since it's an Eco-Drive Crystal movement, I made sure to expose it to some solar energy and set the time, day, and date. I'm sold on Citizen watches, the eco-drives I have keep excellent time. Nope, not a Rolex, or something like that, but for me price wise, they are excellent watches. :-) This is a nice looking men's watch, the images online don't do it justice.

Amazing watch
UPDATE: I know this isn’t a huge deal but the watch is fast a couple of seconds. I’ve had it less than a month and it’s not at the same level of my other Citizen. Not enough to return the watch but still a little annoying. This is my second watch by Citizen, my first being a Promaster Diver. I love this watch for a variety of reasons. First of all, I love the Eco-drive feature as I will never have to worry about my watch dying on me and changing batteries. It came uncharged right out of the box but started up within seconds (it did the 2-second tick). The watch itself is very nice looking and is not flashy. I like the black finish on the case and the matching finish on the buckle. Something else that I really liked was the tan (beige?) numbers and markings. It really gave it a vintage feel in my opinion. As for the strap, I read a lot of people were having issues with it being short. It fits my wrist with two holes left over so it fits but I wish it was a little longer so I could put the extra band through the loops. I am not a huge fan of canvas but this one feels nice and isn't itchy. The band is a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will soften up as it gets worn.Since the numbers aren't flush to the rim of the case (there is a bezel), the watch wears smaller than 43mm. I appreciate this as I was worried that it would look oversized on my wrist. Additionally, some people mentioned that the second hand wasn't lining up correctly with the markings. I didn't have this issue at all. A leaflet came in the box telling me how to register it and how to set the time/date.Overall, I would highly recommend this watch. I got this watch for $140 in April 2020.
