Keeps parrot very engaged
My Jardines parrot absolutely loved foraging in, and destroying, this toy.The drawers are too deep for her to reach her face in for the treat at the bottom. So, she can either drop or flip the drawers to bounce the treat out, or she can chew the drawers down in height. She chewed the heck out of them. Even without treats. She climbs all over the main box and the drawers while she is at it. It's great for her beak and brain. There are splinters that form, but she never got pricked or hurt. The wood smells nice when shredded, and so does her beak, which was an added bonus. Great toy to keep her engaged. As soon as I put this thing out she's on it. I only used it outside the cage. The ropes don't do anything, she just chews the wood. It has now been so decimated that I ordered two more. It took a couple weeks of intermittent play to destroy.

Seems big for conures, but still usable. Great price.
WARNING: Sawdust. Before putting in treats or toys, you may have to dust out each of the containers. Maybe yours will be cleaner, but my box came with an awful lot of fine sawdust. I blew in one of the boxes and a cloud of wooden powder flew into my face. I had to use air duster and wipe them all out to get them clean and make sure none of the sawdust stuck to my bird's treats. With that out of the way, I noticed it was a little bigger than I thought it would be. I got it for my Sun Conure like they show in the picture, but this toy seems more suited to slightly bigger birds. It's pretty sturdy against small/medium birds (which may need your help figuring out how to open the boxes), but I'm sure much bigger birds like a Cockatoo would destroy this thing quickly. If your bird can't pull it open, you can just set out a little buffet of treats and toys for them to select from when it's playtime. The price was great compared to bird toys at my local pet shop. My Sun Conure was scared of it at first but once I started playing with the boxes and the wooden ball inside, he wanted to play too. I let him eat treats from the edge of one of the little boxes to get him used to it. They're a little deep so I just stack the toys enough so he can reach them.Overall I give this 5 stars because even if your bird doesn't end up liking it, the box can still make a cute little storage container (strings sideways) for anything small like change, accessories, paper clips and rubber bands, bottle caps etc. I wasn't sure at first, but my bird and I love it.

Great product
This is a great product. Built well, easy for even a smaller bird to enjoy. I just have a bird incapable of understanding how drawers work. :)

Not for Conures
I bought this thinking it would interest my two conures. Neither one of them are beset strong enough to pull the drawers out and with them being intelligent animals, they lost interest very quickly on this toy. I have had much more luck with open holed boxes big enough for my conure to stick their head in and “forage”. Will be returning this item.

MY BIRD LOVES THIS!
My Green Cheek Conure loves this foraging toy and it is a great tool to use for training. I'm so glad I got it and I know he is glad I got it too! LOL!
