several wrong-nesses by Stash [updated] [yet another update]
[yet another update]Fer the last time! ...this is about Stash Gunpowder, ASIN B006E9PPCE.This is embarrassing... but continuing to drink this tea, and researching the bit about "smoky" gunpowder tea, turns out it is a common, normal thing... just something we didn't know about. And in that light - despite being so startled the first time - we'll give it its due, for those who favor smoky. However, comparing it once again (see below) head-to-head with the Absolutely Tea non-smoky gunpowder, we ourselves will stick to that, the non-smoky.5 stars... enjoy!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~[update]Once again, this is about Stash Gunpowder, ASIN B006E9PPCE.Let's see here... in several days now, we have indeed gotten used to it - somewhat! - have made our peace with it, and we'll drink it to the bitter end! :-) We won't buy it again. In retrospect, the problem was the shock of expecting "green tea" and getting "smoky" tea. (As we noted in the first round, "smoky" is on the label as displayed... but it is not in the text description (at least *was* not, in case you read this and it has changed), and we missed it on the label.)Still, however, brown not "green", in-your-face not "distant" or "subtle"...Three stars... enjoy!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This is about Stash Gunpowder, ASIN B006E9PPCE.First of all, we should say that we don't know what star rating to put on it - the one star is ours, but others might actually go for it, who knows?!Commenting here on our first cup - might we get used to it? - but right now, the question is whether we will continue to use it at all...(1) No mention is made in the Amazon blurb about what is on the label of the package we received, which speaks of the "lingering subtle, smokey note". Not being tea connoisseurs, we won't pretend to be such - but "subtle"?! - no, we beg to differ, it is very much not subtle, but rather "in your face". Not only that, but...(2) ...the "brewing instructions" on the back of the package say "use one level teaspoon of loose tea per cup", and "brew 3-5 minutes". We used considerable less than that, a slightly rounded 1/2 tsp (about 2/3 tsp, by repeated measurement), and about 2 minutes - with the strong result as noted in (1).(3) The label on our package has rather different text from the label shown on Amazon, the latter of which says (at least at this moment) "light body and a distant smoky, spicy flavor" - about which, see (1) - "light"? "distant"??? ...not!...(4) The online blurb also says "dark green", about which we also beg to differ - what we received today, brewed as we said above, resulted in a rather dark brown color, very clear, yes, but not very attractive, in our opinion, as compared with other green tea products.(5) In the same Amazon order - and trying at the same time, side by side - we bought the similarly described Positively Tea product ASIN B00SRTD2SI. (The Stash Gunpowder, dry, looks a bit prettier!) We found the Pos Tea to be... green tea! ...flavor good, and pretty much as expected from other "green tea" experience, including from Stash itself, their Green Tea product ASIN B006LXKK46! (That, however, as other reviewers have noted, and we agree, is not very attractive in its physical form, some commenting "only dust", whereas ours just had "a lot of dust".)Your mileage may vary! :-)

Mild with just the right amount of Jasmine scent
I was buying regular Harney's green tea which I find to be very strong, so I recently switched to this product. I like it much better b/c the green tea is milder and has a nice 'grassy' element to it. The level of jasmine scent is nicely balanced. I brew this quite strong b/c I make it iced by the half gallon during the summer. I know that a water temp of 185 degree F is recommended for green teas, but I have used 200 degree F water with no bitterness. Very nice, and also inexpensive.

Oh my!
Lavender Earl Grey has always been my favorite tea. I never liked green tea, only black. That is until a friend of mine went on vacation to China and brought back a flowering Jasmine tea ball for me. I thanked her and put the tea aside for about a week or so but my curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it. Oh my goodness, it's certainly a little bit a paradise sipping on a hot cup of Jasmine tea, it's so soothing and the aroma in itself is just so spiritually uplifting!Well, I didn't think I could ever match that tea experience without going to China but figured I'd look on Amazon for some Jasmine. After ALOT of time checking out all the teas, various companies and reading a ton of reviews I made the decision to purchase this tea. I concluded the indivisually wrapped tea balls aren't economical since I drink a lot of tea every single day so the loose tea, which I drink already using my awesome Brewville tea maker would be the way to go and I already know that STASH tea is a good tea so figured I'd try their Jasmine tea. I'm having my first cup right now and it is delicious! It isn't as strong as the first brew using the flowering tea ball but you can add a second load of water to the flower and even a third, it literally lasts for days. Well, this STASH loose Jasmine tea is probably the equivalent to the second load of water added to the flowering tea which is still good, just not the WOW tea initially experienced. I like my tea strong so I will add even more tea the next time I make it. Also, this tea is so good, adding a sweetener would only ruin it's rich natural flavor.Unless you're going to China to buy some flowering tea balls (and if you are, please bring me back some) I definitely recommend this tea. It tastes delicious, super aroma and very smooth....and a super price too! :)

Good but a tad weak
This is one of our favorite go-to teas. The flavor is a bit weak if you follow the directions on the bag but it's great if you double the amount and add some sugar. Sometimes I add extra dried or fresh mint. Great tea for after meals.

Super mint favor
This product is more expensive than the others but it is the BEST. Superior flavor, can use less for cold brew. Excellent.

Weak double bergamot and expensive
I was really hoping for a pop of Bergamont, but that didn’t happen. In addition, it was very expensive for the amount I got.
