Good pad for them, that doesn't tie up part of the room -- thin enough you can walk over it. Not super thick like the ones they really like (giant bean bags...), but fits way more places in the house :) I have two dogs, one 70lbs, one 110lbs. Both of them can fit on this if they snuggle. Or it fits one cat in the very center :)

My dog loves sleeping on this mat! When he is not next to me, I know he is laying on it in the other room. I have washed this mat many times and still in great shape!

I initially bought this pad to put on the bottom of my coffee table because my pomeranian likes to lay there and I didn't want him to scratch it up but instead I use it in front of the sofa to cushion him when he jumps off the couch since these little dogs are prone to sprains and joint problems. He doesn't yelp anymore when he jumps off the couch so it must be working good!
