Relatively inexpensive products like this are not generally the best for ordering online because order fulfillment and shipping are a large portion of the price. I tried to buy black silicone sealant at the two big home centers near me. Both were sold out, so that was a wasted 45 minutes. The price for this black silicone sealant was a dollar less than the home stores, if they had it, which they didn't. The quality of this silicone sealant was comparable to GE or Dow Corning. Just like the name brands but a little less expensive and an easy online purchase delivered to my door. Winning.

Reasonable price on black sealant. Used to caulk leaking truck window and it worked great. Looks geat and was easy to do.

Really NO Black tube. Only silicon use for sealing up Metal openings that stay closed on our racing team. It is costly but I have found in the long run this is the best on the market for what we use it for.

With silicone products I always purchase with removable tip. When the end dries up you can always unscrew tip and get rid of harden piece. This item showed up with permanent nozzle which is ruined the first time you set it down. forcing a dried chunch of silicone up a tube with a fixed nozle will ruine anything you try to do from constant blocking. If you show a removable nozle and say it is removable when questioned, don't send me the exact opposite. That is false advertising. More Amazon waste of my time buying and returning.

needed this to help try and seal out a leak on a classic car. It is thinner than some of the black weatherseals I've used in the past like Permatex and the more popular brands. I tried this because I needed a good amount more for this project.Pros:- spreads easy- good color (some other blacks dry a lighter black or matte like - this was pretty glossy)- seems to adhere well enough, used masking tape to try and contain the mess- a little thinner - good or bad depending but in a 74 F day, it help make it easier to spreadCons:- a little thinner (can be good or bad depending on your need)- No black tip. I kinda needed that for an easier reach into a tight spot. Instead it has a regular caulk spout so I had to trim as little but can still expel and let it "push" into the deep channel not knowing for sure if it settled to the base. I think it did or at least by sealing it closed it should achieve the same goal. Would be nice to have that precision tip.- strong odor! like vinegar - thank goodness it was an outside of the car application. Can't imagine how bad it'd be inside.I will update on odor residual, weather durability and adhesion after some time passes. So far, I guess it suits.
